Ever since it was announced last week that Madonna will be the new face of high street giants H&M, the poor old gal’s copped a load of flak that she’s too old for the young women’s brand.
At 47, she’s older than some of our mums, but that doesn’t stop her from prancing around in a lycra leotard at any opportunity. Still, that hasn’t stopped ad experts critising H&M for choosing someone who some teenagers won’t even know.
Madge’s angry spokeswoman fought back saying, “I defy any 18 year old to do a quarter of what Madonna does on stage.” Hmmm, still doesn’t change the fact that she’s an old timer though…
