New Companion Speculation

So who do you think will take over Billie Piper, as the Doctor Who companion?

Seems to me, thats its between Michelle Ryan (Zoe from Eastenders) and Freema Agyeman (Lola Wise from Crossroads)

Apparently, Freema is in the final two parter of this series, and will become a companion at the start of series 3. But Michelle Ryan has always been linked to the role.

So who do you think should/will take over?

But Michelle Ryan would be good as well, because she'd relate to the younger audiences as well as Billie Piper has.

well im not sure who it is but my brothers totallty obssesed and he told me it was freema not sure where he got it from though

I think she's odds-on favourite to have the role, but i find it quite strange, seeing as she's in the last 2 episodes of this series. Would they really get rid of Rose, and get the new companion in the same episode? Seems a bit quick, to me.

I'll be very upset if it's Michelle Ryan. I did not like her at all in Eastenders. Also it's going to be a similar type of character to Rose. Young Girl, not very experienced, starting to explore space for the first time. I want it to be Zach from Impossible Planet/Satan Pit, I think would be great, but that is partly my love for Casanova coming through there! Freema Agyeman looks like a very good choice though

I think Michelle Ryan would be good in it, and to be honest i can't see nicki sanderson doing it!!

I definately dont want Nikki Sanderson taking the role! :eek: I like dher in corrie but shes very young and I cant imagine her being that different to the character of Rose. I want someone completely different, maybe someone from another planet rather than just a young girl/woman from earth.

I was on a news website and they mentioned Sarah Dunn (mandy from Hollyoaks) because she has left hollyoaks, I cant really imagine her in Doctor Who but then again I couldn't imagine Billie Piper in the role either before it started!

I'm not sure on Michelle Ryan, she seemed ok in Eastenders but I wouldn't want them to make her like Rose.

I wouldn't be suprise if that Freema girl gets the part as shes quite unknown.

please God not Nikki Sandersan!! i wasn't particulary impressed by her in corrie and she came across as really full of herself on x-factor.
I wouldn't mind Michelle Ryan, although i don't think she's a very good actress.
Out of those three, i would like Freema to get the part because she's new, unknown and a bit different.
Of course, i would much rather Billie Piper didn't leave and we could have Rose forever but, hey, c'est la vie!
