Week 27
Monday
Max moves his family into No. 5, but finds it difficult to tell Tanya that he has relatives on the Square. Meanwhile, Sonia fears that she is being cut out of Rebecca's life and is annoyed to hear that Carly is babysitting. She heads to the Fowlers' to investigate.
At the Millers', meanwhile, Darren is worried when he thinks that Keith has succumbed to the family move. But Keith soon reassures him that he has a plan.
Ian takes Dawn to the Walford Community Charitable Trust auction to pose as his wife, leaving an oblivious Jane concerned about his whereabouts.
Tuesday
It's the day of the Millers' wedding and things aren't going to plan when Genghis goes missing. Rosie waits for Keith at the Register Office, but is horrified when she lays eyes on him.
Elsewhere, Tanya finds out that Max has been deceiving her and packs her bags ready to leave the Square.
Meanwhile, Ian is delighted when he is invited to join the Walford Community Charitable Trust committee and tells Dawn that her services are no longer required. Dawn later reveals to Carly that she has been posing as Mrs Beale.
Thursday
After spending the night at the Queen Vic, Rosie returns home and demands to speak to Keith alone. Meanwhile, in the cafe, the Miller kids are worried as the future of their family hangs in the balance.
Bradley sees a removal van outside No. 5 and tells Stacey that he's glad to see the back of Max. But he is left disappointed when they decide to stay.
Ian feels nervous when Victor approaches Peggy about hiring the Vic for a WCCT (Walford Community Charitable Trust) event.
Meanwhile, Sonia confides in Gus that she continues to find it difficult to see Carly, Rebecca and Martin together
Friday
A distraught Keith tries to convince Rosie that he was wrong about marriage and begs her to stay. However, as Rosie packs her bags, it looks as though she's made her mind up.
Martin agrees to let Sonia take Rebecca to the seaside. However, though Sonia is delighted, Rebecca isn't too keen.
A frustrated Ben is convinced he'll never get the hang of sack racing and challenges Phil to try it. He is pleased when it becomes clear that Phil isn't too good at it either.

Sounds good. A closure to the Miller storyline. I assume Rosie and Demi leave after this incident?
I'm not surprised Sonia's upset about Carly babysitting. Sonia should get more access. Martin's girlfriend shouldn't be spending more time with her than Sonia.
I'm liking the stuff to do with the Brannings. Is No 5 the Allens?! I'm not surprised Bradley's angry, but maybe he should give his dad a chance.

It's not like Sonia isn't getting any access though -- and she doesn't actually have any legal right to access, it's Martin's decision if she does or not. Also, if Martin and Carly are planning to make a go of things, it's wise to let Rebecca get used to Carly being around and to get to know her.

bradley's dad.. he is coming into ee soon I think
It sounds as if Martin and Carly are going to get together then :) Anyone think that Sonia lets slip to Rebecca that she is her real mum so that's why she's not keen to go to the seaside with her? She's a bit young to understand Sonia turning homosexual.

i think she is not keen cause she wants to spend time with Carly

Sonia is not getting much access at all and as for her not having any legal rights to access, she is Rebecca's mother. Martin knows how much Sonia loves that child and is using Rebecca to punish Sonia for leaving him. If it hadn't been for Sonia, Martin wouldn't have Rebecca in his life now. And if it wasn't for Sonia rescuing him when he was heading for serious trouble, he wouldn't be the man he is now.
And no, Martin doesn't need to get Rebecca used to Carly. He has known the girl for 5 minutes, they have said it is only a fun thing, nothing serious and he should be putting Rebecca first. She does not need her father's love life shoved down her throat. Martin and Carly will last a couple of months and then he will move onto the next one. Then she will have to get over that loss too.
I hope Sonia goes to see a solicitor, fights for custody and gets it. After all, given Martin's past, he should never have been given custody of Rebecca in the first place. I know if I was in Sonia's place I would fight him and his mother from hell with everything I'd got. No way would I let Pauline Fowler have a say in my child's upbringing.
I agree that he needs to think of the practicalities. That boy needs to use the brains he was born with. Why bother introducing a bit of 'fun' to your daughter? He said himself that that's all Carly is. I bet he's only trying to get Rebecca to bond with her to get at Sonia, and if I'm honest I think that's the only reason he wants to go out with her.

She gave her legal rights up. Margaret gave legal rights to Martin. Ergo, Martin has legal rights. If it wasn't for Margaret Martin would have no legal rights either. It doesn't matter if Sonia is Rebecca's biological mother, because she gave her up. Frankly, Margaret could have decided to give legal rights to Keith Miller and Sonia and Martin could do squat about it.
And about Martin using Rebecca...I have to ask, what show are you watching because from the sounds of it it's vastly different from the one I am. How is Martin letting Rebecca go with Sonia to the funeral punishing Sonia? Or letting Sonia stay into the evening and play with Rebecca? :searchme:

What exactly is everything Sonia has, even ignoring the fact that she once kidnapped this child. She's been cutting work and quite a few people can testify she's been drinking heavily. Her idea of a stable home for Rebecca was living with Naomi, Garry and Minty in a 3-bedroom flat, now it would be living with Jim, Dot, Bert and Bradley. Also the fact that, no matter the reasons, Rebecca's legal guardian Margaret didn't want Sonia to have her. Fighting for custody would mean yet more instability in Rebecca's life -- does she really need having the last two people in her life fighting over her?

I think Martin is being reasonable in letting Sonia see Rebecca. He is putting the needs of his daughter ahead of his feelings of hurt.
I can certainly see Sonia's point of view though, with him letting Carly babysit her daughter. It's fine what he does in his spare time, and if Sonia couldn't look after her, then yeah, but I think he should have asked Sonia whether she could look after her first. Carly shouldn't be put ahead of Sonia, in who gets to babysit Rebecca.
Ignore Pauline! Rebecca needs her mother.

Sounds like a good week, i assume Rosie packing her bags is her leaving for good and Demi following??? I think the Miller storyline will be drawing to a close after this week....
I am looking forward to the Max/Tanya stuff, i can't wait to see their first appearances and i am glad that they decide to stay at No.5.
I feel sorry for Jane as Dawn is posing as Ian's wife. I think Jane should just dump Ian! He's an idiot!
The Ben/Phil stuff on Friday sounds nice, can't wait to see Phil sack racing! :D
I feel sorry for Sonia, i agree that Carly must spend time with Rebecca if she is making a go of things with Martin but i feel Sonia needs to have more access. Martin may be Rebecca's legal guardian and her father, but Sonia is her mum and she really does deserve access.

little Mo I agree the signings EE has made recently have been first class, and I think Bradley's family will be an excellent signing like the Foxes have recently been.

Not sure about the Foxes to be honest. I think Owen's a good character, maybe when he comes back it'll get better.
But the Branning definetely are top class! Can't wait for them to get involved with some storylines.

Yeah, if Denise would stop flying off the handle then I might warm to her character more!
Do think the Branning extended family are going to provide alot of good story lines, well the potentials there. The more I think about it, the more I think Bradley's mum should be brought in, but I think enders have had enough new character arrive just recently!!! The house prices in Walford must have gone through the roof!
So surprised how well and quickly some of the new characters have settled in. It seems that characters like Kevin, Carly, Bradley have been in it for yonks!!
Only character I dont like is DEANO!!! Wish Deano would go and be a holiday rep somewhere far, far away!!!!!!!!

Yeah they are sure to bring a lot of drama! Somebody did say Bradley's mum was going to be brought into it. I read in an interview that she lived in Hertfordshire, which is where EE is so they could do some scenes there, away from Walford. And then maybe bring her into it for a few episodes in Walford.
There's been so many new characters, I know! And we know there's more to come as well, what with Sean and everything. So much scope for storylines, it's getting really exciting now!

Don't you think its weird that Bradley hasn't taken Stacey to see his mum yet?! Especially when you think about the fuss and effort he made about meeting her mum.
Do we think she is Bradley's deep, dark secret (that people have mentioned)?!

Yeah Charlie Clements said that on an interview, that he thought it was weird he hadn't been to see his mum.
There were hints that his mum might not be all sweetness and light when Max was talking the other night. He was asking Bradley 'how he knew what his mum was like?' and how 'whatever he had been told wasn't the full story'.
But Max realised that he wasn't going to get anywhere trying to blame Rachel, because he knew that Bradley had a deep loyalty to her. I reckon Max might know something that Bradley doesn't about her.
