I need to get one of these so I can get some work from my school computer account to home, and also to use for my GCSEs over the next two years. I don't know an awful lot about file storage so I was hoping that you could recommend any makes/sizes.

Urm i have a 512 MB one, and its good, but i suppose it depends on how much you are saving etc, i would recommend eiether a 512 mb one of a 1gb one, but they can be quite expensive :)

i have a 256mb one... never filled it even with pictures and all my schoolwork from the past 5 years. if you are going to get one check with your school if you will be allowed to use it as my school doesn't let you

Disgo is always a good make, from what i've seen of them. I have a 1gb one, which is plenty of space for coursework, photos and other files. The smallest you should get is 256mb in my opinion, and even then, you'll struggle to get all your stuff on there.

But definately get a Disgo, if you have a choice. Though most of them are good enough, anyway.

My mum got me one today as I need to get some ICT work home and finish it over the weekend. I was going to get a 512 one because of your reccomendations, but my mum refused to spend that much, so I got a 256MB one. LMF, how many files would you say you had on yours?
