Unfortunatley no. Although Chloe and Jack were able to expose Logan as the instigater in the day's events, he still walked away alive. Logan will be back for day 6 but don't know how long for. George Itzin who plays Logan has got to get an emmy for his performance

It has been confirmed in the USA that season 6 will return on the 7 January with a 2 hour premier. It's only 133 days away. If skyone follow the schedule as they have in previous season then season 6 will probably be shown here either the 4 or 11 February. The emmys are tomorrow night hopefully kiefer and the gang will sweep the boards and get the awards they deserve

Cheers alannah it has been confirmed that both Eddie and Phillip will be in Season 6. It is rumoured that Jack and his dad will not have a great father & Son relationship (no surprise there) its a pity that they couldn't get Donald Sutherland to play jack's father that would have been totally amazing.

I watched the trailer last night. And day 6 is looking good. The trailer showed that Wayne Palmer is now the president and other recurring characters include Bill Buchan, Cutis and Chloe O'brien. The prequel begins with Jack exiting a plane in shackles with long hair and a beard, there is some terrorist attack on america and Jack Bauer is asked to sacrifice his life to save america. There is only 12 days until day 5 is released in the UK. Oh yes the man is back.

will auderey and kim be back does anyone know

Not if Chloe and her rocket launcher machine gun from day 4 have anything to do with it :rotfl: no seriously Audrey is supposed to appear in day six but it has not been confirmed how many episodes she will be in as Kim Raven is now appearing in a new US drama. There is no word on Kim returning for this season yet. There is more news from DS:

Eddie Izzard will no longer star in 24, having left the show after just one day of filming.

The British comedian was set to play a villain called McCarthy in the sixth season of the hit thriller and has been replaced by actor David Hunt. The specific reasons for Izzard's departure from the show are currently unknown, but may be related to American network FX's decision in September to commit to his TV series The Riches, which also stars Minnie Driver.

British-born Hunt has previously appeared in sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond and played a starring role in Sky One football drama Dream Team in the late nineties.

Ricky Gervais has filmed a cameo appearance in cult US drama 24.

In the joke scene - shot for the season six DVD - Gervais plays a presidential advisor who keeps whispering that a crucial mission should be assigned to Jack Bauer. He then acts "incredulous" when a colleague says his suggestion out loud and takes credit for his idea.

24 exec producer Jon Cassar told the New York Post that Gervais was "just too recognisable" to put in the show for real, but added that another scene featuring his writing colleague Stephen Merchant will be seen in the season six premiere in January. "Stephen actually walks up to someone at CTU and hands them a piece of paper."

Gervais has previously had cameo parts in Alias and The Simpsons. Together with Merchant he has also penned an episode of the US version of The Office.

Former NYPD Blue regular Rick Schroder will join the cast of hit real-time show 24 for its sixth season, according to reports.

Variety claims that Schroder will play CTU operative Mike Doyle, who will assist Keifer Sutherland's character Jack Bauer during the series.

Schroder is a former child star who shot to fame aged nine starring alongside Jon Voight in 1979 film The Champ, for which he won a Golden Globe award. Most recently, he starred in American series Strong Medicine following his departure from NYPD Blue after three seasons.

Jamison Jones will join 24 in a recurring role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Jones, who has already appeared in 24's as Deputy Nirman for two episodes in the show's second season, will play the head of the President's secret service detail. There is clip on fox.com with ex stars of 24 talking about how they miss not being in the show. The actor who plays Agent Pierce is reported to say that he is not in the season so far and is unsure if he will be in day six.
