Probably, because Sonia wouldn't have been able to live across the road from her and have little or no access, so would have used Martin as an excuse to get close to her regardless of falling for him or not.

I'm not so sure, if they hadn't have put her up for adoption, there would probably of been a bigger bond between them, I don't think she would have looked at Naomi.

Not really because when Sonia expressed her feelings of not wanting to keep Chloe Pauline wanted Martin to have her, they nearly ended up in court for it to be decided wether Sonia put her up for adoption or Martin got her but Martin was just a kid himself and told Mark he didnt want her and was only doing it for Pauline and when Martin and Mark told Pauline she backed down, so yeh Chloe wouldnt have nesicially (sp) been with Sonia.

The original post said that if Pauline had got her way, which would have meant that Martin would have had her.

Yeah, eventually, but we are assuming that Pauline got her way and Martin brought up Chloe/Rebecca as Sonia didn't want her at that time.
