Even though fashionistas have been falling over themselves to compliment the dress Victoria Beckham wore to her Full Length and Fabulous party at the weekend, David has come over all Simon Cowell with his catty remarks.
When Vic emerged in the bright yellow dress, he nearly dropped his glass of champers with shock. “David really didn’t like the colour,” an insider snitched. “After all, it was almost fluorescent.”
The garish gown, which was made especially for Victoria by top designer Roberto Cavalli, was one of two dresses that Victoria had lined up for the evening. But we bet she wished she’d have chosen the other one when Becks started joking with the guests about what he thought of her funny-coloured frock.
“Victoria wasn’t best pleased when David first cracked jokes about her dress and then commented on how much he liked the dress Frank Lampard’s fiancée was wearing,” said the source.
