I am thinking about gettin highlights. I have brown hair which colour would u rekimend?
A lighter brown or blonde depending on how much you want them to stand out and on your eye colour. How dark is your hair?

I've had my hair highlighted since i was something like 13 and ive got brown hair so i suggest the same as everyone else - a dark blonde or a light blonde if you want it to look quite different

I would go for blonde in that case. Erm, I'm not that sure about timing as I've never had mine done but a few of my friends have so I would say every 4 - 6 months maybe.

it depends on the darkness of your hair and the lightness of your highlights the least you will have to have it done is 4- 6 weeks but i dont expect you will have to have them re done in such a short time, maybe every 3 months or so
I have blonde high lights and they just start to grow out,so basicaly its when you think is best , usually 3 to 4 months with me but my hair is a fairly short bob cut.Dont for get with the summer sun, if we get any :rotfl: the high lights will go lighter in hot sun.

ok the thanks for the advise. How much do u think they will cost?
That would depend on whether you want to have them done at the hairdresser or buy the dye and do them yourself.

try some copper highlights. i've dark brown hair and at somtimes i have both copper and blonde highlights. at the moment i have blond and red.
Maybe a lighter brown? I know someone with light brown hair and hazel eyes and it really suits them.

try some copper highlights. i've dark brown hair and at somtimes i have both copper and blonde highlights. at the moment i have blond and red. i was thinking about dying it black with red highlight or lowlights but desided it wouldnt suit my skin tone as it is olive toned (tanned) . copper sounds nice thought i might get copper and light brown hightlights .what do you think ?
That sounds good. I'd stay away from red as red highlights/dyes never look natural. My friend had red once and it came out somewhere between red and ginger, so it was really weird.
