DOCTOR Who slipped to it's lowest audience share on Saturday as viewing figures fell to 6.3 million.
It normally pulls in 8 million and the BBC blamed the holiday weekend.
A spokeswoman said: "More people are likely to be away."
The Idiot's Lantern, although its bank holiday weekend overnights (6.32m, 1st/19th) were also higher than last year's overnights (also on a bank holiday weekend) for "The Doctor Dances" (6.17m, 1st/18th).

Well that probably is true, after all it was the bank holiday weekend. I was away anyway camping over the bank holiday weekend and i never miss an episode of Doctor Who, so many people were probably away like me and that's why ratings dropped. :)
It might just have meant the lowest ratings for the current series then.
