Nigel Harman back on tv (not in ee though)

Former EastEnders actor Nigel Harman will be returning to tv soon. He will be starring in The Outsiders, a one-off all-action drama for ITV1, as a man with a mysterious past who's lured back into the world of crime. Filming has only just started. So all we have to do is watch this space for transmission details.

Good he's returning to TV but it's nothing to do with EastEnders what he does anymore so it shouldn't be posted here. Also, only links to stories are allowed.

Ok, fair enough. But it is in the general section of EastEnders. As his character is still mentioned (even though dead), etc.

A point for everyone to think about is if we worry about all these sorts of details what should and shouldn't be posted then we wouldn't have a board at all. If I posted this in the showbiz section noone would reply to it as I notice the same people post the news stories there. That's my only justification for posting this info here.

i think you should be allowed to post here,glad of the information,also no one complains if people post about shane ritchie or jessie wallace ,also most ee actors will allways be associated with the soap,the ee website still has all the information about them on their website,i suppose the actors hate being typecast but when they signed their contract they will allways be remembered for that charector and lets face ee is so boring at the moment that chats about thefutures of ex cast members are more interesting than the soap itself,i'd laugh my socks of if this programme went up against ee and won

Thanks Callummc I'm glad I get appreciated here. Although some people do beat me too it to post things. I hate it when I post something and the only posts are get are people telling me it's already been posted and then after all my efforts it gets closed, lol. I guess it's part and parcel of sharing these messageboards. Something I've enjoyed doing by the way since joining over a year ago. :)

thanks emmak2005 for this thread I appricate you for telling us this lovie :) .....I cant wait for nige to return to our tv's and he dont like being 'nigel harman' on tv I mean he got bored of EE because sometimes he didnt know if it was dennis or nigel on TV so I assume he's gonna be completely diffrent although playing a bad boy will never be to far from our dennis
