Week commencing June 10 - transmission dates and times to be confirmed due to World Cup coverage
Pauline is annoyed when Sonia announces she is going to Margaret's funeral, but Martin agrees it's a good idea. After the funeral, Sonia spends some time with Rebecca at the Fowlers' but comes close to tears when she sees Martin and Carly together.
Meanwhile, Rosie and Keith apply for their wedding licence while Honey and Billy announce their rearranged wedding date.
Elsewhere, Ian tells Jane he feels like a failure because he's not the local entrepreneur he once was. But when Phil turns down an invitation to host a charity event during the World Cup Ian jumps at the chance, and is asked to join a sub-committee. He persuades the representative, Victor, to hold a fundraising party in the Square. Jane is pleased with his newfound enthusiasm until she learns they have to do the catering for an OAP event - for free.
Garry and Minty realise they can't afford a plasma screen to watch the World Cup so plan to use Mark's motorbike to travel to Germany, while Patrick puts a Trinidad & Tobago flag in his window in preparation for the summer's football.
Denise takes a sick day and persuades Squiggle to revise at home. However, following a day of arguments Squiggle disappears.

Minty bumps into a woman called SJ who has a flat tyre. He offers to fix it for her after learning she has just been thrown out of her flat, but Garry tells him he's a mug for not charging her. When they turn up at the club that night, Minty is shocked to discover SJ is a stripper, and Garry is stunned when he later realises Minty has brought SJ back to the flat.
Bradley, meanwhile, wants Stacey to meet his work-mate and suggests a night out at Scarlet. Stacey agrees, but the evening doesn't quite go according to plan.
Stacey helps her mum, Jean, unpack in her new flat. But, when Jean hurts herself, Stacey becomes worried about how she will cope on her own and makes a drastic decision.
Elsewhere, Denise is relieved when Squiggle turns up, until she realises where she's been. And Jane is feeling very stressed with the amount of work she has to do for Ian's charity event.

Sounds great! Are they going to show Garry and Minty in Germany at the World Cup. They can't show the actual games because they film 6 weeks ahead, but it would be fun to show them going. Another on location?!
Jean's in it now, great! I assume the reason Stacey meeting up with Bradley's workmate, doesn't go according to plan is because she gets a call from her mum. Maybe she has to rush there, and doesn't get the chance to let Bradley know. Which may lead to an argument, and in turn Stacey telling Bradley about Jean.

How old is Squiggle? What drastic decision? She's rushed to her side before, I don't think that's very drastic. Wern't Stacey and Bradley supposed to be splitting up. Maybe she finishes with him and moves in with her mum briefly?

surely it is more appropiate for mena to comment here as it is regarding spoilers rather than general comments considering spoilers arent allowed in the general comments section. Plus everyone normally comments on spoilers anyway, creating discussions.

Kylie, it is just to keep the boards tidy.. this is for comments on everything to do with week 24, Mena was asking for specific comments on bradley/stacey and there is a thread designed for them...

Sounds like a great week, i am glad they are adding a bit of realism what with mentioning the World Cup. :)
It's good to hear about the Millers too, i haven't heard much about them in a while.....
Also, Jean makes another appearance, i can't wait! Good on Stacey for putting family first. :)

Yeah it's all about 'family' in the square isn't it?! Is Jean coming into Walford permanently? I've heard she's only coming in for a few episodes. But how would Stacey be able to leave her on her own. They must come up with a solution to the problem.
I love that Rebecca is coming to stay in Walford. It's nice for everybody. You wouldn't think that this could happen. There very lucky to have a second chance.
