Shahbaz has left the Big Brother house and will not be returning, the group was informed this evening.

Producers took the decision to remove the 37-year-old from the show following a number of bizarre comments and incidents in recent days. On Sunday night he had claimed that he had entered the house "to die" before imitating machine gun fire.

y weell i did read on vodafone live that in the diary room he said he wanted to commit suicide so producers were told to keep a very close eye on him

There is also speculation as to whether there will be an eviction this Friday, or if/when Shahbaz will be replaced

George read the decision - presented on a laminate - to the stunned group at 8pm this evening. "Shabhaz has left the Big Brother house and will not be returning," the announcement said. "There is now a leadership position open inside the Big Brotherhood. Big Brother will get back to you."

The housemates had varying reactions to the news. Some, such as Mikey and Sezer, appeared disinterested while Lisa speculated that producers would now make it appear as if the group had pushed him out.

Richard was the most vocal, describing the situation as "very serious" before warning the group that they would have to be "respectful" when packing Shahbaz's

at first i found himn really annoying, but after all of the arguments i actually felt sorry for him when the group excluded him, in a way im glad he's gone so he doesnt have to feel so isolated, but then again he did wind the other housemates up which isnt a very good thing to do if you're trying to get on with them, i think he was probably a bit too much in your face kinda thing, i think thats why people didnt really like him. i did think he should of stayed until the end of this week, but obviously too much for him. i wonder if they will have an eviction or not ? :searchme:

Its a shame that he has went because I think he could have been an entertaining housemate, but I think he has some serious mental health issues and since being excluded by the other housemates was on the brink of having a nervous breakdown so may be BB have removed him for his own safety. now all we need is for nicky and sleeze bag sezar to be evicted

No way. He came across as phychologically unbalanced. There's getting people in for entertainment purposes, and then there's getting totally unhinged psychos.

I think they got a "paki, muslim gay" for all the sterotypes it goes against but ended up getting a total nutter.

I'm glad they've had the sense to bring him out of the house. After his threat to kill himself whilst in the house etc, and the way he was acting, unfortunately it all went too far, and he does seem to have some issues. They obviously picked him thinking of all of the contraversy (sp?) etc he could bring into the house, but it ended up back firing on them. At least for his own peace of mind, he is out of there though.

As much as I didn't like his antics, I do hope he is ok....

Im so glad that he has gone when he first went in i thought ooooo he could be fun but he was such an idoit im glad he walked he doesnt deserve the attnetion that you get when your evicted.
