Home office:What should be John Reids priority?

It was between policing and prisons and in the end decided on prisons. We've been studying these at uni and they are all extremely over crowded. Prisons are already full (according to reccomended prison population) but its predicted thats its not long that they will be so over crowded that they wont be able to send anymore people there. However this could then mean that sentencing needs improving as maybe judges are sending too many people to prison. They all need improving really as its a bit hard just to focus on one
