As Shahbaz's manic energy shows no sign of abating, the Housemates desperately tried different methods in order to grab some kip.
Having pushed a couple beds together, 6 of the wannabe sleepers guarded their newly-formed territory like a fortress to stop Shahbaz from invading. "Stay the ******* out of my bed!" snapped no-nonsense Lisa.
Encouraging the sleep-deprived thespian to hit the Diary Room yet again, Richard's suggestion was a little less abrasive: "Torture them, not us."
Spurned by his Housemates, forlorn Shahbaz headed to the lounge where he cradled a beanbag and gabbled to the cameras. "Big Brother, is there anyone awake who has the strength to talk to me this morning?" he whined.
Moments later he headed back to the bedroom and urged Richard to join him on the beanbags. "Yeah, right," was the sarcastic response from the Canadian, who made a swift exit.
This prompted Shahbaz to seek refuge in the arms of usual bedmate Dawn - but even she didn't have the energy for him.
Refusing his requests to roll over and chat, Dawn was eventually successful in removing the hyperactive presence from her bed. "I'm too tired to murder you. I'll murder you tomorrow," she told him playfully.
Unsurprisingly, Shahbaz headed to the Diary Room where he more or less set up camp for the night.
