It's only the first morning and already Richard is breaking under the strain of Shahbaz's constant, and fully narrated, affections.
As the Housemates tucked into their first rations from the larder, the Scotsman buzzed around the nibblers in a whirlwind of flapping arms and no sleep. When he flew into the Garden for a moment, Richard grabbed his chance for a break... and locked his suitor out in the open.
Let me in!" screamed Shahbaz, banging on the patio doors. "Big Brother! This is abuse!" he continued.
As Richard collapsed into giggles, Shahbaz continued rattling the doors. "I'm sooo going to kill you!"
As Pete and Dawn tried to unlock the door, a snickering Richard gave in. "I've got the key," he said, getting it from his bedside, and grabbing his Stetson for good measure.
"Let him in, he's got a wet bum," said a sympathetic Nikki.
"I only wanted a bit of peace and quiet," explained Richard. "Look, I'll even give him a lollipop."
"You better run for you life Richard," chirped a frustrated Shahbaz, chewing on a banana.
As Richard finally let him in, Shahbaz got excited again.
"See, he's so happy now," joshed Rich.
So this is what they call treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen.
