Shocked parents are asking how a five-year-old child was able to come home from school with drugs in his bag after he apparently found a bag of speed at his primary school.

A five year old boy returned home from a school in Dundee and he seemed to have what appeared to be a bag of speed. He said that he found this bag in his personal tray in his classroom inside a city school. He took the bag home and his parents then discovered this bag and contacted the authorities.
There is no question over whether the child himself actually took any of the drug.
The authorities are saying very little about the incident at the moment. Tayside Police have launched an investigation.
A representative from Dundee City Council refused to comment, but said that they were cooperating with the investigation with Tayside Police.
At the moment very little detail is known. The school in question is not yet known, but there is a great deal of concern about the incident.

ouch the school wont be opening for a while! someone must have slipped them in there theres no way a child of 5 would know what they were or even that they were drugs!

You would be surprised the amount that young kids know about drugs especially if they live in a drug enviromnent. I have a friend who has two kids and there dad was a drug addict, he would leave his medication lying around everywhere. The kids were 6 & 3 at the time and they knew not to touch them.

Woh that is really bad the school will now have a really bad reputation because of it and the council won't be happy either which will proabley be why they aren't commenting at the moment and They could of been put in anyone's personal tray not just his.
