DC Zain Nadir (TJ RAMINI) and DS Phil Hunter (SCOTT MASLEN) arrest Mark Granger (GEORGE SWEENEY) who they suspect has been running a protection racket and an illegal outfit turning over stolen goods. Whilst uncooperative at first, Mark later reveals the real reason: he is being paid by Trevor Wright (PAUL BROWN), owner of the local gambling shack, to find him a hit-man to kill his wife’s lover. In order to prevent the jealousy killing, DC Terry Perkins (BRUCE BYRON) goes undercover and pretends to be a contract killer, but the cops are racing against the clock; the lovers, it turns out, have secretly booked a one-way flight to Australia for the next day.

Meanwhile, PC Lewis Hardy (AML AMEEN) and PC Roger Valentine (JOHN BOWLER) get involved in the pursuit of Kelvin Hudson (NICK SAYCE), a prisoner who escaped from an ambulance following a road accident. Roger is in a bad temper as he awaits the result of the DPS’s decision on the charges against him, and as the PCs lose Kelvin’s trail, he loses his temper and blows up in the face of his young and over-enthusiastic counterpart. Does this make things tricky for his future at the station?

At the station, it emerges that prisoner Kelvin’s escape was facilitated by accomplice Hannah Moore (JACQUETTA MAY), purposefully causing the accident with the ambulance. And what’s more, news arrives that Kelvin has committed another murder whilst on the run. The tension mounts as there does not seem to be a single lead to explain the mess. Will the search for the killer see more victims yet?

Emma tries to evade ex-boyfriend Matt Hinckley’s (MARK DEXTER) continuous attention in the form of text messages and flowers. At the same time, Emma is determined to not repeat mistakes and stay away from PC Will Fletcher (GARY LUCY). Out for a drink with Lewis, she asks him to keep an eye on her, but then action is required when Matt turns up at the bar…

On the day of the much anticipated boxing match, PC Will Fletcher (GARY LUCY) and PC Emma Keane (MELANIE GUTTERIDGE) spot a frightened toddler in his pyjamas, covered in someone else’s blood. Emma’s patient play with the child eventually reveals his name and address and this leads the PCs to the scene of a bloody crime, a case of domestic violence. It turns out that the child was abandoned by his parents after a full-on fight, but the stories that mother Deborah Carey (MARTHA COPE) and father Paul Pavese (MARSHALL LANCASTER) deliver do not match up. DS Phil Hunter (SCOTT MASLEN) and DC Suzie Sim (WENDY KWEH) have to work out which one of the two really is the dangerous aggressor.

Whilst the affectionate relationship between DS Stuart Turner (DOUG RAO) and DS Samantha Nixon (LISA MAXWELL) seems to be growing stronger, they are landed with the task to investigate a daylight stabbing and robbery in the local shopping centre. CCTV footage suggests a local school boy has committed the crime. The evidence quickly narrows the search down to the two suspects, but questioning the boys leaves the case unresolved and victim is not able to identify. Stuart has made up his mind about who he thinks is the culprit and intimidates the victim into delivering the answer he needs to wrap the case quickly. When Sam recognizes Stuart’s dubious behaviour, she feels let down and reacts with annoyance. Will Stuart’s action sabotage the the case and give Phil ammunition to antagonise him?

Emma’s love life remains frenzied as notices are pinned up along the station’s corridors, claiming that ‘Emma loves Will’. Even worse, solicitor Matt has decides to get even and file a charge against PC Will Fletcher (GARY LUCY) for punching him to the floor. Inspector Gina Gold (ROBERTA TAYLOR) is angry about having to deal with her employees’ love lives and orders Emma to stay away from her ex and gives Will a ferocious dressing down. Not only is the punch-up now threatening his career, but furthermore it has rendered his hand in no state for the boxing ring.

As the atmosphere at the station is now out of joint, and a disheartened PC Dan Casper (CHRIS JARVIS) has to face the boxing match on his own, will Emma agree to meet up with Matt despite everything?

Sounds like some good episodes coming up, i think Roger will be cleared by the DPS. :)
Terry going undercover and the toddler/domestic violence story sounds really good, looking forward to these cases being shown on screen.....i must admit though Emma's love life is getting very boring....overall though, the episodes look very good. :)
