Oh my God! Our favourite blonde bombshell looks set to make her acting debut in Coronation Street. Celebrity Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton recently revealed she really would be living the dream if she got a cameo on the soap. And now ITV bosses are set to make that dream come true by letting her host a charity karaoke night at the Rovers Return.
Several soaps were keen to get their hands on reality TV’s hottest property – but Chantelle knows exactly where she wants to be. “I am a massive Coronation Street fan,” she gushed. “I love it because it’s so funny. My favourite character is Cilla because she makes me crack up. If I was offered a walk-on part I’d definitely take it.”
A soap mole confided in the Daily Star on Sunday: “We’re sorting out money issues, so hopefully in a few weeks we’ll have her behind the bar.” Now all Corrie bosses need to do is sign up Chantelle’s squeeze Preston to play Rita’s toyboy and we’ll be happy as pigs in mud.

Wow, this is surprise news to me! I never knew Corrie wanted to sign Chantelle up and i never knew Chantelle wanted her acting debut in Corrie, as long as she just goes on there for a guest appearance i don't mind, but hopefully she won't be a permanent character, can she actually act???

Its true what they say "God loves a tryer but hates a pest" and by god has she tried to get herself on every soap on telly since she won celebrity Big Brother. some one had to give in eventally. I bet the big brother bosses are cursing themselves that they gave her the fame now she just won't go away

Chantelle is a terrible actress and presenter, everytime i see her on the tv i have to move away. She annoys me so much. her and preston are just about getting the publicity on themselves.
i will definitely be missing corrie when she is init.
