Boxer Mike Tyson has said he wants to join Irish boyband Westlife.

Tyson's friend, and fellow boxer, Joe Egan said that Tyson loves the group and believes he can replace the now departed Brian McFadden.

FemaleFirst reports that Egan has already made moves to contact the band's manager Louis Walsh in order to set the wheels in motion.

Westlife are said to be pleased with the rumour, with a spokesperson stating they are all big fans of Tyson.
