Ok this is going to sound stupid I know. But is it possible to loose a tampon inside you?

I cant remeber if I removed it yesterday afternoon. Ive worn a new one since. but my bleeding is really light today. There is no string. Is it possible for it to have gone up a bit further?

Yes it is possible,I did it once, you need to check properly to make sure or it will cause a infection.

not to try to worry you but this could be dangerous as someone before me said it can lead to infections my mum's friend had to go to hospital with hers before to get it removed

Its not possible to lose a tampon there is nowhere for it to go, but it is possible that the string maybe became lose and the tampon is still in you. But since you've worn one since i doubt that you still have the other one inside you, but as hazey said you need to check properly just in case :)

you shouldnt think of it like that your not wasting their tme at all if your worried then you should go to hospital would you rather go to the doctors and get it sorted/find out, or in a couple of days time gettin really bad aches and need to go to the hospital (sorry to make you worried lol)

Hun, it might sound gross, but there are ways of checking yourself. You cannot lose them inside you. Your nurse at your local surgery (GP) can check for you if you can't yourself, but you need to check to ensure its removed.

you could easily have a check for it yourself. if you have put another tampon in then the first could have squashed up nearer the top, but it will be there, it cant go anywhere else.try finding it yourself then if not its best to have it checked.
