Yeah im doing one tomorrow then the week after Ems is doing one

My main reason for stopping doing them was because a lot of others wanted to do them too, so didn't want overkill, but if you are the only one doing them again, I'm happy to do a themed quiz once a fortnight as I was doing before.

Contenders - let me know too if you would like me to start doing themed quizzes again (which would be from the week following Vicky's quiz, in order to give Vicky a break too)

We want you to do some agai Emz, i miss yours. I think on the week you don't do, other people should have a chance to do one if they want to. But you go back to doing one a fortnight, and then the rest of us can argue it out, as to who would do the other week, but no-more than 1 a week.

I don't mind taking a turn (lord know what questions I would ask) I just feel its a lot of work for the same members who have to make up the questions all the time, but I don't want to upset anyone who may enjoy doing the quizes.

Sounds like a fab idea to me, Dawn. You can count me in to do one- though not the 15th of Oct, because i'm going to Devon then. I think the idea of having loads of different people would make it more interesting, as everyone will ask different sorts of questions from different shows, which should keep it more interesting, and not repetitive.

the thing was the quizes were becoming over kill, 3 in a week once, and there was not much communication between members, people would decide on the day or a day in advance that they are doing quizes, it was organised and it was messy

i think if there is one a week it would work much better, I would even possibly consider playing again if there is a regular and organised shedule to it. :)

plus the rota sounds fab, a lot of different kinds of questions, and every gets chance to play quiz master, i wouldnt mind being on the rota to do an occasional quiz.

Not a clue whats going on, ive not arranged anything because Dawn was going to sort it and Ems was backing off them again was the last i heard Not backed off - stepped down like I was originally going to do because there were plenty of people going to do the quizzes. I was only going to get involved again because it seemed like it was only you doing them on a weekly basis, and Dawn had said about doing the rota thing. I could do a quiz this Sunday the 8th of June, Friday the 13th of June or Saturday the 14th of June.

I've set the date for Friday 13th June for the quiz, which will be in a week's time. I realised I am not free on Saturday night so can't do it then, so have chose Friday 13th June (which leaves a week's notice) I hope this date is ok and convenient for the majority, even though I know some people won't be able to make this date.

The questions: there will be 5 general knowledge questions, 5 television questions, 5 music questions and 5 film questions.

the quizzes used to be at 8pm, dunno if its still gonna be the same or not. i personally think 10pm is a bit late cos i remember they could go on for about 1hr 30mins - 2hrs sometimes which would then be quite late finishing

basically we all join in a msn convo and then davey will ask us the questions, if you know the answer press # and davey will ask the first person who presses, if they get it right they get a point, if they get it wrong he asks the next person til someone gets it right, then he asks the next question etc. there are normally 20 questions and everyone gets a point for joining in :)

erm when you sign in theres a list of your contacts, make sure you sign in as online so that davey can see youre online and he will add you into the convo, when he does a separate window will come up which will be the convo window so youll be able to see what everyone else writes and at the bottom theres a box to write what you wanna write in and when you send it everyone else in the convo will be able to see what youve written. sorry i dont think ive explained it very well!
