i missed most of last weeks did i miss much can anyone give me a brief update of what i missed
Well I missed some of Monday's and Thursday's episodes but I can fill you in on the rest.
Johnny and the Gang trash Amanda's place. Amanda calls Drew but he doesn't answer because he's left his phone at home. Peter finds the missed call and goes round to Amanda's to give her what-for. They end up being locked in a cupboard in the kitchen over night. Peter gets really irate with Amanda and starts looking through the cupboard for painkillers even though Amanda had already told him they were in the bathroom.
Next morning Peter and Drew find them in the cupboard. Later, Amanda confronts Peter about his painkiller addiction. She tells him about her sister, Kelly, who was addicted to the same drug. He explains that he takes them because of severe pain he has after the blast. As he took more the effects were reduced so he had to take more to get the same effect. She promises to help him beat his addiction if he wants her help.
Rocco got beaten up by Johnny and the Gang so Rocco stood more of a chance of staying with Sally. Brad warned her not to let him stay with her and he showed her a burn on his leg from when he tried to help a lad out of a gang. He thought something similar would happen to Sally if she tried to help him any more.
Rocco turned up at Sally's and he asked if it was still ok for him to stay. Sally didn't say much but the answer was no (you know how she hates saying no.) Later she gave in and let him stay, against Brad's advice.
Now that Rocco is in the house Johnny tells him to steal some money or something. Rocco says he can't do it so Johnny punches him in the stomach so Rocco agrees to do it. He takes a locket that Flynn gave to Sally.
Jack and Martha finally reach a mutual understanding that their marriage is finished. Jack knows about Martha and Ash spending the night together before they knew each other and about Jack.
When Jack's physio, Sam, comes round she tells him he has to let go and that Martha and Ash didn't sleep together both knowing who the other was. He agrees that she's right and he later tells Ash that it's ok for him and Martha to see each other.
Jack tries to get out of bed with the aid of Sam and Tony but doesn't manage it.
Matilda finds condoms in Ric's wallet.
Lee comes back hevily pregnant and in labour. She refuses to go to the hospital because the cops are after her for robbery. Lucas phones Rachel and Lee reveals that she hasn't been to any antenatal appointments/scans and she doesn't know how far along she is or when the baby is due. Rachel takes her to hospital and she has a boy.

Ric/Mattie lovely how dare Beth stickher nose in and try to stop them seeing one another. That woman is so irritating.
Gang stuff adding drama and tension to the soap but I just want to punch that Johnny's lights out and yes it is like Cain and his brother all over again.
Not sure about the new cop. Glad that Jack is still around.
Martha hate her more and more.
Sally and Brad so sweet when he kissed her and she becaome all flustered.

he kisses her!!! we are 2 days behind in Ireland and it was only last night that they talked about having feeling for each other.. I was so like "kiss her you idiot".. I am glad they are getting together.. they are so sweet together

Not quite, it is leading up to them getting together. The kiss was on the cheek, Sally got all flustered, you can just feel the chemistry between them espec in the way they look at one another.
Sorry to get you all excited only to disappoint, but I'm sure they will snog soon!!
P.S For all I know they may of done this week. I watch the omnibus on Saturday, a whole 2 and a half hours, really enjoy it.
I missed tonight's episode, anything good happen?
I'm liking the gang stuff, it adds a new dimension to the show but I can't help feeling lke I want my old Summer Bay back with no Johnny and no gang.
erm icant remember mustnt have been that exciting.
ah yes i remember now. THere was quite a lot spent on Amanda and Peter, she got all emotional about the past about how she fell for drew as she hasnt been loved. And that in the past her parents have never forgiven her for an accident in which her sister got hurt.
Then there was Jack and the nurse Sam, there were getting quite emotional together as she told him about her daughter i htink it was who died from a rare disorder and then he comforted her.
And Ash and Martha went on a date. It didnt take her long to forget Jack.
Don't forget if you miss an episode it is repeated 12.00pm every day during the week as well as at 4.00pm on five live. Also you can catch the next days episode at 8.30 on five live and then there is the omnibus on Saturday.
Thoroughly enjoyed the omnibus and Jack is so lovely. I like the idea of him and Sam getting together but this would be KIm/Rachael all over again.
Martha bitch as usual only caring about herself.
Beth being the mother from hell, thank goodness Tony is a reasonable guy and managed to talk her round about Ric/Mattie. The trouble at the party Wasn't Ric's fault it was that prats who he works with.
Sally/Brad oh so sweet! I just so wanted him to kiss her, it's going to be one of those romances they keep us on the edge of our seats for..teasing us!
Johnny hate him and am so worried about Brad, but good on him for standing up to him.
Peter/Amanda they would be good together but there are complications. I hope Peter manages to beat his addiction.
Alf/Colleen hilarious as usual.
Great viewing with great drama.
I'm at school most days so I miss the 12pm viewing. I didn't know it was on at 4pm though.
I want to give Martha a slap. She used to be such a nice girl when she arrived. Since she married Jack she's turned nasty towards him and everybody else who doesn't think the same as she does.
Sally and Brad... hurry up and get together!

Oh yes there is Chemistry there alright and it become clearer last week at the hospital when Amanda was admitted. Peter should try to have a heart to heart with Drew and let him know how he feels about Amanda, o.k he won't be happy as it is obvious that Drew is pretending that he is over Amanda. Before any of this Peter needs to sort himself out, ree: pain killer additcion.
There is alot of chemistry all round in Summer Bay right now.
Ric/Mattie, Sweet
Brad/Sally:wub: Just love the way the chemistry is bubbling away like mad with these two, I keep thinking when are you going to kiss. Imagine the passion when they finally do!
Jack/Sam:wub: I do hope that there is a future for these two and that Martha doesn't mess it up for them. Don't know which couple is sweeter these two or Brad/Sally, just love it when people are attracted to one another and it all starts to bubble away. Did you see the way Jack looked at Sam Awww. Mind you with Jack it could be rebound and comfort at the mo as he has just been through hell and back.
Martha can't wait for this storyline to unfold if it's going to go the way I think it is with her latest conquest, I will laugh so hard.:D

I keep thinking, "Brad, no don't do it!" But he does it anyway. I won't spoil this week's episode's but there were some close moments between him and Johnny and I wish Brad would just listen to Sally and leave him alone.
I actually like Johnny, he's a really convincing actor.

I think Sam and Jack make a really cute couple.

We had Sam/Jack finally getting together after Sam told him why she was acting strangely with him. Jack was so lovely when he told her that he wanted to take care of her and Rory.:wub: Hope that Jack doesn't let Martha bitch mess it up for him, however I think danger lies ahead.
Yes Martha is annoying me but I find it tolerable because I have a feeling that Ash/Aston is not who she thinks he is and it won't be long before the truth comes out espec with the wonderful Morag on his case!
Rachael/Kim - aww lovely and I just loved the way Kim came riding up to the church on horseback. Finally they both had the happiness and everything that they wanted, that is until that cow Lee turned up like the proverbal bad smell.
Gang stuff something tells me things are about to get worse and I suspect that Johnny knows Rocca betrayed him with Tom. Just hope he doesn't find out about Rocco's latest betrayal. I don't trust Ash though.
Glad that Peter/Amanda are finally together no thanks to big gob Leah, what gives her the right to poke her nose in all the time!
Love Peter/Drew scenes and glad that they are trying to work through things.
Sam's secret is that she gave evidence against her husband who was a drug dealer and was sent down as a result. Sam/Rory have been moving around every six months because he is well connected and his "people" keep finding her. Now that she has finally told Jack and after a talk with him she has decided that she can't keep running, with Jack's help they are going to deal with the problem together.
I know it was so good. I knew Jack would get it out of her in the end. It was a bit odd how she was acting.
Thoguht the bit this week with the adoption man hearing Kim and Alf talking was funny, i really thought that they had blown it.
Today's episode was so good, I almost cried at the end when Kim came riding up on the horse.
Watched tomorrow's episode as well and it's so sad what happens. I felt sorry for Rachel and Kim when they had to make the decision.

:crying: :crying: Poor Sally. That was so sad :( Especially with the Silent Night music too :(. The play was really funny though :lol: And then to get ruined by Kit (Poor Rach :() And now Sally :( Just after kissing Brad too. Can't wait til Monday.

i have enjoyed the storyline with johnny and rocco it shows people what real gangs are really like
i did feel sorry for rachel when lee came back for joe but im glad she came back because in all reality a baby does belong with its mother and rachels in for a shock when she finds out about kit isnt she what a way to start a marriage

I was almost crying. I don't want him to die, he's such a great character. It's just happened in Oz so we should see it in about 3 months.
we just got to see where Rocco stabbed Sally last night but it just seemed disjointed... one minute she was at Amanda's saying goodbye to Cassie and her next scene she was just kissing Brad and then stabbed... this should have been shown over 2 episode instead of cramming it into one.. I saw clips on Utube and they missed a lot of scene plus they never showed the tribute to Sally.. did the same happen in UK or was that just in Ireland???

It didn't seem disjointed to me. I saw a vid on youtube of Sally being stabbed, in hospital and having an operation, the link was posted on here. It hasn't all been shown yet in England. I think it was an amalgamation of all her scenes that was on youtube.
What confuses me is why the whole town were at the hospital when Sally was in theater. Surely in any normal hospital only close family would be allowed. Even Amanda was there.
I really felt sorry for Ric when Rachel told him Sally might not wake up.
The bit I seen on youtube was Brad and Sally cleaning up after the party and then they played silent night and showed Cassie leaving, Ric/Matilda loved up, Ash with his family, Amanda/peter/dan/leah together.. On last nights show it didn't show amanda peter... or ric.. and it didn't show the part where Brad and Sally first kissed.. just the clip of her saying "this year will be a great year" It seemed to cut out a lot of stuff compared to the episode I seen on youtube aired in Oz

For us the entire episode yester was the play, cassie says goodbye to sally, Kit turn up with news for Kim, Ash is at home with family and then it just gave 1 mins at the end when Sally was "finishing" kissing Brad (didn't show how it started) and she got stabbed..

we got to see some of this and part 2 in one half of our episode yesterday, both parts were cut into on piece lasting 9 mins but they are a full episode we never got to see.
It was awful, realy we filmed. I hope we dont lose her, it looks a bit touch and go in the thearte. I knew it would go wrong when Rach was left in charge. The whole bay was in the waiting room. Showed how many people cared about her. Cant believe Rocco is being so calm about the whole thing.

We didn't get much from the first link. We saw the bits that you said above. Didn't see Brad and Sally walking down the corridor carrying the things to the classroom but we did see them kiss. Watching that, it appears that the episode we saw was heavily edited. I wonder if the finale in Aus was a 1hr special so Five had to edit it to fit into 30mins.
Thought kick start the thread again. Home and Away has become good again, i thought that as we had the big Sally story there would be a bit quieter but its not. Cant believe they took Belle, i think Amandas sister is going to be a right piece of work. It must come on handy living with the detective in summer bay.
Why is H&W bring the same story up again.. Ric/Lucas goes away for 3 weeks, Cassie/Belle is having a crisis of who they love and Macca/Drew is at them all the time to tell Ric/lucas.. anyone else see this pattern???

She is unnaturally dark, it just emphasises all her bones that stick out.
Saying that though, I watched today's episode (UK) on Five Life last night and Maddy looked a bit underweight to me. Her legs looked like twigs. She seems to have shot up though so maybe thats why she looks too skinny.
I agree about Cassie siobhan, she looks really underweight. Its not natural looking.

We found out yesterday (Monday) that Rocco stabbed Sally so you should see it tomorrow if you're 2 days behind.
I watched tomorrow's episode on five life and I felt really sorry for Johnny. I really don't think he ment for Rocco to get beaten up. Not sure if it was Ric who did it, he would own up to it if he did beat him up. Maybe it was one of the gang Johnny sent to tell Rocco what was happening next who felt Rocco had betrayed them and deserved a good bashing.
Hmm, yeah I really don't think Johnny wanted Rocco to get hurt. Never thought I'd say this but... poor Johnny. His parents aren't around and his brother gets beaten up (and if you read the spoilers you'll know what happens after that) so he's got no one really.

Yeah, the new credits are the start of a new year in Oz which means we are about 3 months behind. They started about 3 weeks ago I think.
I prefer the old ones, the new ones run a bit fast for me to watch them properly plus they don't have the cast names on it.

I agree. Ric just had blood on his hands and t-shirt which would be consistant with trying to turn Rocco over. He didn't have any bruises on his knuckles which would indicate Ric punched Rocco (apart from those he got when he punched Rocco when he was getting in the car.) I don't think Ric has it in him to beat somebody up that bad, he was angry and he had had a go at Rocco previously but I don't believe he would go that far.
Johnny did say to Rocco, go to the house and wait for somebody to come and tell you what's happening next. Maybe Johnny sent a hitman/one of the gang to finish him off. But Johnny did seem genuinly upset when he heard about Rocco in hospital. Or guilty that he could do that to his brother.
Peter said that there was no record of visits to Johnny in the log book so how did Rocco get in and out without being seen or having a visiting order? :hmm:
Johnny is a powerful man so he could have gotten the records deleted.. remember he has corupt cops on his side (howelse did the evidence go missing)

Loving Martha getting her comeuppance and really hope that she doesn't screw things up for Jack/Sam, they are so good together. I just laughed at her.
Poor Rachael she really is having a hard time of it, Kim is being so nasty to her, he always takes Kit's word over hers.
Poor Ric what on earth will he do now? Love the hug between Ric/Sally.
God when is that over tanned and irritating Cassie going to vanish, thought we'd seen the last of her after she moved to the city with Macca.

i agree with you. When she appeared again from the City i was great dissapointed. Usually when they go to the "City" thats the end of it.
I am really get annoyed with Kit.. i know she is pregnant and she knows that this is Kim's only chance of his own child.. How dare she tell Rachel how to handle kim, how dare she tell kim about the argument with Rachel just before she got the headache.. she has Kim running around after her and poor Rachel doesnt' have a husband anymore.. How can he accuse his wife of causing Kit headache???? If it was me I would have told him to get lost and go to Kit and their bloody child.. Rachel can have her own kids and she sacrified that to be with Kim who can't have kids.. How can he be so selfish and how can Kit keep interfering like that. sorry I am just so mad at her and him :angry::angry::angry::angry:
I completley agree i think she is being really selfish, although i do think she and Kim are made for each other. He's just as bad with Rachel blaming her for everything. Have you seen the car scenes yet. I wont give anything aware but they are so alike. I dont think Rachel can see the plank that is her husband.
yeah.. Kit and Kim are more suit.. I felt really sorry for Rachel.. she was stuck in the car too and risked her life for kit and the baby.. how does kit repay her.. by telling her husband it was Rachel fault she go the headache. did she say it was her stupid fault she dropped the phone?? no!!!
Kim is just so wrapped up in the baby at the moment.. and seriously if my boyfriends/husband's ex girlfriend turned up and started going on about how she knew him better, I would slap her, pregnant or not.. how dare Kit do that!! I am really beginning to dislike her
Oh and how sad was Rocco's funeral.. the bit when they were all round the table and sally was say what happen, then she said that Ric is nothing like Johnny.. I cried :crying::crying:
It was really emotional. I nearly cried mum beat me to it. She' such a great actress Kate Ritchie and she really showed it in that scene particualry.
I completly agree about Kim and Kit.
I think if the woman who slept with my husband in the bush turned up and announced she was pregnant I wouldn't be too accepting of her. I don't know how Rachel can be involved in the baby like she says she will be - what role is she going to play? Stepmum? Will the baby call her mum? I couldn't do it. But then again I wouldn't marry a man who cheated on me with another girl.
I think Kit is rather selfish, she's acting like Kim is her husband, not Rachel's, and he should be at her beck and call.
Rocco's funeral was so sad. I wish he hadn't died, her was such a great character. I felt sorry for Johnny though. Rocco was the only family he had left and now he's dead. I know Johnny probably had something to do with his death but I still feel for him.
For goodness sakes Belle it's so obvious she has feelings for Drew. Why is she stringing Luke along. It's so irritating.
Loved the scenes between Tony and Maddy this/last week and between Jack and Martha. Jack still cares for Martha and it's good that he does but he's sacrificing Sam for Martha.
How sad was it with Ric going to jail and poor maddie having to testify against him.. that lawyer was a right cow.. she twisted everything
Tell me about it. Even auntie morag couldnt do anything for poor Ric. Of all the prisons for ric to be into he's put into that one.
What I don't get is how can they believe a convicted felon.. Johnny gave this bull**** story.. and they lapped it up.. I mean, he is in prison for all sorts of things including harrasing Brad and saying it was the other way around... how did they believe him!! :searchme::searchme:
Maybe Johnny was paying the judge/jury off. After all, he did get one of the cops to "lose" the bag of evidence so I guess he's capable of doing that sort of thing.

yeah amanda went to confess all to peter, but surprise surprise while amanda was waiting for him kelli reached her in time and came away with a sob story about how after the car accident they were in years ago shes been living in her own prison now amandas away to put her in a real one and the waterworks came on, peter came in and they just said they had fallen out but everythings ok now
belles getting suspicious of kelli though about time too
i hope Kellis found out soon she really is a nasty piece of work.

i like martha i just think shes went through a lot and doesnt know how to deal with it, she thinks she has to deal with her probs on her own rather than confide in sal or cassie or jack and she just seems to be going mad at the mo especially since she keeps cancelling the councelling appt that she is advised to go to after the abortion. if she spoke to someone it might just help

I can't stand Martha since her and Jack split. She's become such a cow to everybody and she gets on my nerves.
Oh and I forgot to mention, Kit is awful at the moment. How could she choose her pot-smoking ex over the life of her baby? And what right has she got to say to Kim that he can't be involved in the baby if he carries on like he is? I can't wait til she finds out the truth about James.

I missed today's episode but I watched tomorrow's. You're in for a shock with Jules. Since him and Lily have been hanging around together I've come to like him. He's got problems and I think the way he has been portrayed is excellent. He reminds me a bit of myself a few years ago.
I agree, Hugh and Rachel all the way. Now Hugh is on the scene, Rachel and Kim just don't fit together like they used to.
How much longer is this Kelly Saga going to drag on for?? It makes me feel like turning over whenever she comes on. Don't think I can take another two months of this :wall: :wall:
I watched yesterday's episode and I was almost in tears at the end when Maddy opened the gift from Beth. Very very good episode :)
And today's with Jules, I'm growing to love the guy. He's so sweet underneath all that bravado. Lily put in a great performance too with her coughing fit too. I reckon that doctor (was it Hugh?) has X-ray vision, he managed to diagnose pneumonia without an X-ray :thumbsup: I wonder what Lily's mother will have to say when she turns up :hmm:

Yeah Kelli got caught and in spectacular style.. She booked a flight for Ethan to Bangcock (I think) and not for herself.. Ethan came around accusing Kellie of sending him away and setting him up for everything and Amanda heard is all!!.. she ran out door and into her car, chased by kellie, Amanda crashed the car and Kellie just left her.. lucky Amanda is ok and Kellie was caught and confessed all.. Eventually (about time too) Peter confesses he loves Amanda and they are back together
I am 2 days behind so it was only last night when Cam set the club on fire with Martha in it..
Cam is so horrible i can't believe he took the 2000 dollers from the diner, poor desperation. I missed last night so i'll have to watch the repeat to see what happens in the fire. It looks good though he really must be desperate to sign over his precious club.

I missed the memories bit but I gathered from when Kim came home that he has feelings for Kit. Kim should get with Kit then Hugh and Rachel can be together :D It's pretty obvious now that Hugh fancies Rachel and I think she's trying to deny/ignore it.

I agree Shaza. Tony wouldn't do that. I know he's mourning and all.. but I was hoping that Matilda and Kit would look to him as a father sort of thing, but after this that won't be happening. And there's always something up with Lucas.. I like Lucas's character, but I prefer him as nice Lucas.

It's kinda obvious that Kim isn't in love with Rachel as much anymore - he likes Kit. Or at least that's how I see it. He does put Kit first all the time, not Rachel, I don't know how Rachel has lasted this long being second best.
Sure he's annoyed/upset about Archie moving away, but I think he's also upset that Kit won't be there either.
I can kind of see the point that Kim made about it not being fair on either child if he has to travel to see both of them. Neither of them would have as much time with him as they would do if Archie was living in Summer Bay. But I do think that was an excuse not the real reason.

i watched the bank holiday special episodes of sally and flynn a love story today on five live, i really shouldnt have though because when it came to the cancer ones and when he dies then the funeral i cried like a baby,
I totally forgot about it and then started watching it but I only caught the last 2 which made me cry loads even though I didnt watch it back now, I really am quite sensitive

Just saw last night the bit where rachel told kim about hugh... I don't know what is going to happen with them next but I bet Kim uses this as the reason he needs to be with Kit..
