Weird questions on tapes

i know you can get 3 and 4 hour tapes and putting them on long play gets 6 and 8 hours but can you get longer like a 5 hour tape or anything

You used to be able to buy 5 hrs ones although I havent seen them recently. The quality of them was never that good. You would be better buying a dvd recorder to be honest. :)

I had a look on Froogle (http://www.google.co.uk/froogle?btnG=Search+Froogle&q=recordable+video+cassettes&sa=N&start=0) and the longest tapes I could find were 4 hours long.

i have a dvd recoreder but when i go away i need to get 2 weeks worth off uk gold bill and i dont haev sky upstairs where my dvd recoreder is

couldnt you move your dvd recorder...

The longest tape i have seen lately is 6 hours. Has your tape recorder got EP then you could get 16 hours out of a 4 hour tape

no it doesnt have ep only my one upstairs and no i couldnt move it as it took my dad ages to get all the settings and everything set up for me
