Just been watching that Noel Edmonds prog deal or no deal so i was wondering: Do you need to be lucky to be/get rich?What do you think?

NO you can get rich by working hard.
No, you don't just have to be lucky - some people make their fortunes by getting off their backsides and working 24/7 trying to get a business going. For some, this is enough to gain your fortunes, for others you can go on like this for years with little reward/gain. For others it falls into your lap. But I don't personally think luck comes into it in most cases.

I heard a saying years ago that money goes to money, so I voted yes you can work you backside of 50 years and still not have a penny to show for it, then you read in the newspapers that someone has decided to buy a lottery ticket for the first time and wins millions. Theres no justice. I believe what's for you will not go by you if your meant to be rich and lucky you will be if not we just have to get on with it
I agree with Ems.. you don't have to be lucky. Look at the Richard Branson's, Alan Sugars, Bill Gates!! they worked there asses off and from an early age saw opportunities and grabbed them.. It wasn't lucky it was hard work

It wasn't lucky it was hard work Definitely Siobhan - They worked hard and reaped the rewards - if you don't work hard, you shouldn't expect fortune to sit in your lap.

i think that you have to really work for things that you want and if you work hard enough like people like richard branson you could maybe just get rich.
no cause you can get rich really easly so you don't really need luck
