Anyone watch this?? Well I know a few of us do :p but yeah, who else? I think it's really good, I prefered it when Paul was it, but unfortunately he died, so can't be in it no more. I like the episode after he died, where Bridget bought that new dress. Ahh made me and Emmie cry haha!

Lol aww yeah, that was denfinately one of the best episodes... especially when she got to door and started crying bless her. And also the bit where it was showing how the kids were dealing with Paul's death... Rory was with that Missy girl because she felt sorry for him, Bridget was crying in her room and looking at old photos, and Kerry was with Kyle dancing, though the dancing was a bit too long lol. But it showed how everything had changed from the beginning of the episode where Bridget was all happy and Kerry was all sad and then they swapped.
Anyone seen the one after Paul's death? I haven't, well only the very end which didn't help lol. Because the one where Paul dies, it has a preview of the next episode and I think Bridget said that she felt guilty because the last thing she ever said to her Dad was that she hated him, and I really want to see that as I think Kaley Cuoco would have acted that fantastically :)
I think it was great both when Paul was in it and when CJ and Grandpa were in it, all great actors and comedians. :)
8 Simple Rules has ended  So... the last episode (I think) was when Cate found out Ed might move to New York or Washington or something? Or did I miss one?

Yeah... well she does like officially in the last episode, and the kids are all fine with it but then he gets a job offer somewhere else and it leaves it there.

Got this from Wikipedia:

Shortly after the third season finale, rumors began circulating that 8 Simple Rules was facing cancellation. In its first season, the show ranked a respectable 42nd in the Nielsen Ratings. It did a little better when more viewers tuned in out of sympathy and curiosity after Ritter's unexpected death. But by the end of the second season, the show slipped to 50th. After ABC moved 8 Simple Rules to Friday nights at 8:00 p.m. it had fallen to 94th in the Nielsen standings. Some observers simply could not get beyond the tragic absence of John Ritter and welcomed its end. But others applauded the show's portrayal of a family sticking together and growing after a staggering loss that millions of families have shared. Regardless of either view, it is certainly one of a few times, if not the only time, in television history that a series continued two full years beyond the death of its star.

But the Friday night ratings took their toll on the show that had already endured so much. The third season finale (in which Katey Sagal's character tells her family that she's been dating the school principal played by Adam Arkin) wasn't even aired for May sweeps. The finale received a 3.9/8 rating share which gave ABC a third place finish behind NBC's Dateline (5.8/11.) and CBS' Joan of Arcadia (4.9/10.) which happened to star John Ritter's son Jason (and, coincidentally, was also cancelled due to poor ratings).

On May 17, 2005, 8 Simple Rules was officially cancelled by ABC

Meh what idiots

I think Paul just collapsed which was similar to what happened to the actor who played him.

I like this show; my sis got me into it. For all Lost fans, Katey Sagal who plays Cate in 8 Simple Rules is appearing in Lost on Channel 4 tonight!

The actor who played Paul collapsed on set due to a heart condition - more details can be read on IMDb (http://www.imdb.com).
