Do you know any famous people or do any live in your village or road etc?

Marcus hahnemann who is Reading fc's goalkeeper lives in my village,2 mins away from my
road and i see him every day up the school as his children are in my sons class.

Kate winslet is also a famous person that was born and bred here and also so i have heard that bryan adams was born here and ricky gervais.

I come from the same housing estate in edinburgh that Les McKewan from the Bay City Rollers lived on I didn't know him as he was a few years older than me but my sisters and brothers did

guessing you must live relatively close to me Chance as the drama group i used to belong to when i was younger was the same one that Kate Winslett went to when she was kid.

I know that Dawn French and Lennie Henry live near by to me. Their daughter used to go to the same riding club as my cousin and loads of people i know have seen them out and about near home. I also think Parkinson lives relatively close awell (well atleast he used too)

Oh and Will young not far away either

I think Des Lynam lives in my village, or near me anyway and George Alagiah (BBC news presenter) was the son-in-law of my ex-nextdoor neighbour and he came round a few times to talk to my dad about cars.

Ozzy Osbourne stayed at a house in harbone one night in the 1980s. That house was on the corner of the street that my mom and dad used to live on. Dad was away on a football trip so he missed out on getting his records signed.

Also having had my plays performed at the Birmingham REP for two years ive worked with many of the actors there...most of them have had bit parts in Doctors/The Bill/The Courtroom... the most famous one that i know is Lorna who is a presenter on ceebees show Tikabilla.

No famous people live near me but im related to some pretty famous people.
One of my great ancestors was prime minister of this country apparently and one of my relatives was 3 time world f1 champion that ones true.

Shane Richie used to live down my road. Now he's moved to a town close to me. I was in the newsagents a while ago, and apparently i was standing next to him. Didn't recognise him, untill my mates, who had been standing outside said "OMG! You were standing next to ALFIE!!". Cilla Black is near-ish to me, so i hear. They both live about 10 minutes away by car- just off the next junction on the motorway, which is pretty cool.

Dont know if any of you remember them, but Sid and Eddie, who did an act called "Little and Large" and won some TV talent show thing years ago, are friends of my family. My dad accidently walked into their changing room once when he worked at the BBC, and they've been mates of our family ever since :D Sid was on that holiday rep programme a few months ago.

I've met loads of famous people, because both my parents worked for the BBC. I've been to the eastenders set, and met the person that played Zoe. And i went to an Eastenders charity cricket match a few yers ago, and met lots of the people from the cast.

well im related to nikki chapman somehow shes something to do with my grandad, my granadads cousin was in a band i think they were called the honeycombes and my dads cousins husband is a hockey player so im not directly related to them

Also i live near and work with Daniel Whiston who won dancing on Ice this year and Johnny Vegas (sp) owns the caravan next to mine on a Haven holiday park

Through my dad i've met loads of people but to them i was the annoying kid my dad had access to on a weekend.

Plus if i was born 6 months earlier i'd have been Dennis Waterman's !!!

LOL I used to listen to the beach boys too. I'm so glad someone remembers the trems. I was beginning to think I was on my own
