Lost star Michelle Rodriguez is to spend five days in an Hawaii prison.
The actress chose to go to jail rather than do 240 hours of community service, after being found guilty of drink-driving.
She was taken to Oahu Community Correctional Centre, where an official described her as "chipper but probably nervous".
Michelle was arrested last December in Hawaii - where the hit show is filmed - on suspicion of drink-driving.
She could face more time in jail if LA authorities decide that she broke the probation she was put on two years ago.
She was sentenced to three years' probation then for drink-driving and a hit-and-run incident.
There will be a hearing for that when she comes out of prison; if found guilty, she could be jailed for a further 16 months or more.
Michelle plays a new character in series 2 of Lost - police officer Ana Lucia Cortez, who's also found on the island where the plane crash survivors are stranded.
