Britney Spears has sparked controversy after failing to show up for Kevin Federline's nightclub gig.
The mother-of-one came to Las Vegas with Federline last week, and according to local newspaper the Las Vegas Review Journal, the couple were seen fighting in a restaurant, with Spears later returning to her hotel room crying.
The same night, Federline played a nightclub gig where he performed songs from forthcoming debut album Playing With Fire. A number of celebrities were there, but Spears did not make an appearance.
