View Full Version : Mmr
my little one has just had her MMR this morning, she took it ok!! anyone elses kids just had or due to have it?
My little girl had all her injections.. she is 4 now and I have had no problems with it at all
I know there was a scare in the UK about it but all my niece/nephew have had it and all are fine.. Immunisation is free and protects your child.. why would you not want to protect them?
this is the last one she will have for a while, it is horrible when they start screaming but it is worth it for the protection they get!!!

I think the MMR combination injection should be banished.
I have three friends whose children have received the MMR combination. Before this they were perfectly normal happy children. Since they have had the injection they have developed autistic tendencies. One of these children has actually now got live measles in her system which have caused other problems, like loss of sight, and is part of a group that are taking action against the Medical Organisation that first brought the drug out.
Now don't get me wrong, i think all children should be immunised, but i think it should be with individual injections like before. Before the MMR jab was introduced Autism statistics were very low, since the MMR jab has been given nationwide there are far more children that have Autism.
It is possible to get the injection done individually and you do have to pay, but i for one would rather pay for each jab and have peace of mind that my children will be OK.
I hope i haven't offended anyone, as this is just my opinion and i wouldnt want to ram it down anyone throat.

No, you have a prefectly valid point.. I gave my daughter the MMR combined and I will give it to my new baby when the time comes..
I would like to see more research into why indivdualy it works but not as combined? Combined is easier on the child, less injections, but if it increases Autism then there has to be more research into why this is the case..
