heya i was just wondering how many of us have middle names cos i do but my parents dont and some of my friends dont either.
I do, but i hate it. I dont use it on anything, not even bank details have it on. None of my school things have it on either, so its pretty pointless having it on my birth certificate!

I have and all of my family and my children have too :D
I have one. It was my Grandma's name who lived in Africa, except I never met her as she died before I was born so my parents thought it would be nice to give me her middle name. It's Mutinta so I'm Tamara Mutinta

i do and i hate it because i have a double barrel (sp?) last name which is hellier-woods but we only ever use woods and my middle name is marie-which i hate! so my full name is nicole marie hellier woods bit of a mouthfull lol
i have 2 middle names and i dislike jane and can shorten Katherine to kate, so thats okay!... jane katherine (to go with victoria!! argh!!!)

Yes, my middle name is Elizabeth. Not really that keen on it myself.

ive got a double barell first name too and i dont mind it cos its quite different. its laura-may but most people shorten my name to just laura so thats ok.
i have two as well. Elizabeth Mary. I usually on use elizabeth though. My first name and last name are really long so i dont really bother with the middle names.

awww thats sweet thats the same thing with me my gran died beofre i was born but her middle name was olvie and everyone called her that so my parents decieded to call me Abbie Olivia becuase it sounded nicer and they liked it better

if its part of your official name then it should be used. its on my bank details, everything!

my middle name is siobhan. my aunt has the same middle name as me. but people never seem to use it ill write it on forms as if its a double barrled thing but it never gets used. my brothers middle name (jonjo) is made up most the poep lin my family coz we have the same names on both sides. u dont hear of middle names really now. al lmy kids will have middle names when i have them.

My middle name is Alison. It's not after anyone my mum just like it as I have two older sisters and there names begin with the letter A so my mum wanted to call me Alison Kathleen, but my dad wanted me to be called kathleen after my god-mother so my name is Kathleen Alison.

yeh sarah louise is quite popular, so is emma louise, but they fit together really well

well now there is 5 of us here without a middle name.. I know loads of people with only one name of their birth cert.

that is probably cause it is a bit embarrasing or they don't like it.. My female friend middle name is Noel and my dad is Lazarian. Not something to shout about

My middle names Barbara, after my mums best mate, who died of a brain tumour a few months before i was born. I dont use it though, in anything really. I dont like it much.
And everyone spells my name wrong. They dont beleive my name isn't Abigail, so either call me that, or call me Abbie/Abby. One teacher even seriously calls me Abi, she wrote it on a display once :lol:
My surname even gets mis-spelt a lot actually. I should get an easier name, i think...

Yes i have a middle name it is ann very old name, but i think my mum made it that cos my name now is B.A.D, and now i have to live up to the name.

and my daughters is georgia vivien
I love my middle name - it has a great ring to it when used with the rest of my name.
My hubby's dad used to always call him by his middle name, I know a couple of people who do this

yes, my husbands name is simon david but he has always been known as david or dave. his company has just been bought out and the new bosses call him simon, it cracks him up!!

I like my middle name. Loads of people always spell my first name wrong. It used to be really annoying but now I'm pretty used to it. It makes me feel unique!

She did. She laughs about it now, her Dad still wanted her middle name to be Sandra aswell, only because of the initials. :lol: What are men like?
No-one will be able to pronounce it so i'm just going to say "yes I have one" lol
I do Have one so my full Name would be Tanya Janet Travers through my dad annoys me by calling me Janette and my friends when they want to about me call me Janet Jackson it annoys me as my Middle name is actually Janet.

You would not believe how many ways I have had my first name spelt or pronounced. I know it is Irish but in South Africa they spell it the way it is pronounced and it annoys me so much

you names are names tha people usually do miss spell but some managed so spell samantha wrong i really dont think it is that hard to spell

I get my first name spelt wrongly, people usually spell it Kimberly, and it's the same story with my middle name, they put Joe like I'm a boy or something.
