Who hates Ruby Allen?

I find her to be the most annoying character in EE at ther moment. The way she was so rude to Charlie when she said she doesn't accept charity. She is happy to stay in their house and not contribute to anything and isn't even grateful. In the past she has been annoying too when she was in a relationship with Juley and how she always moaned and whined about losing her virginity etc. She has always an overused and irritating character and whenever she is around Stacey is getting sidelined when stacey is a far better character.

Does anyone agree with me that Ruby is one of the worst characters at the moment>

i think shes alright i mean she does moan a lot and she was out of order with charlie but in some scenes she can be really good and really show her emotional side welcome to the boards by the way

Abi I agree with you and if they lynch u they will have to lynch me as well,the actress who plays ruby is LOUSY, and as u said WOODEN,,she needs to go back to acting school for RE TRAINING,,:hmm:

Johnny Allen should have never been a daughter like Ruby. EE bosses could have at least found an actress who can act for starters to play his daughter. Johnny's final scenes were ruined by Ruby's completely unemotional way she persuaded him to hand himself in to the police. I just rewatched the scenes in essex in Johnny's final episode and she is just TERRIBLE! She should be axed as there is nothing much left for her now that johnny is gone.

i guess it isn't all the actress's fault or maybe the character of ruby is meant to be annoying and if she is then the actress is doing a good job. Her storylines have not been that great either. Ruby and Juley particularly ruined her a lot.

I think she's stopped doing the eye thing as much, not that really noticed it anyway, but some people on seemed to. The trouble is, she's always going to be compaired to and up against Lacey Turner, who is a great little actress, so Louisa is never gunna make the grade that some people want from her.

I think you are safe enough on here. Most people agree with you although I feel the twits who wrote the script for Johnny Allens road to Damascus conversion should shoulder some of the blame. The script was a load of keek and the actress was not good enough to make anything out of it,

God she drives me nuts I was really hoping when Billy Murray left she would leave but no such luck looks like we are stuck with her unfortunately. I agree she is wooden she hasn't the talent some of the others young actresses and actors have to pull of some of the recent scenes, she just looks like a terrified little girl out of her depth. Shana Swash who is amazing and pulled off some brillaint storylines and scenes is being axed but we are being left wth Ruby Allen can't see the logic there

Have to totally disagree with you here. Shes just been involved in one of the biggest stories so far this year, and she was still crap at acting it! They can't act when shes got a big story, and she can't act when shes got little bit parts. Shes so annoying, they should just get rid ASAP.

maybe if eastenders gave her some intersting storylines instead of them all revolving around jonny she would be better

I hate her. I don't think she is a good actress and I'm was very annoyed that they did not axe Ruby when it was decided that Johnny would leave.

I think Ruby is a rude, spoilt, petulant, selfish little girl and I think she should get hit by a bus. The nerve of the girl to speak to Charlie like that after he has allowed her to live in his home.

The actress has had plenty of material and decent storylines to work with and she has done nothing with them. She has also had enough time to improve like Lacey Turner has.

i dont mind Ruby, but only in small doses. I think your right about the actress. I think the character is to immature and shes not very belkievable at times. I do think that the storylines she has been involved in have been really good, apart from the whole juley fiasco.

When she first arrived I liked her, and I think the actress was doing okay. Not fantastic, but okay.

Then she returned in October and she was suddenly wooden. Not to mention Ruby became such an annoying character -- there is nothing likable about her. She takes everyone for granted, especially Stacey, and expects people to kow-tow to everything she wants. This wouldn't be so bad if it was intentional -- there are characters who are little brats but enjoyable ones because they are supposed to be that way. However, we are meant to side with Ruby, to support her. We're meant to cheer her on when she gets on her high-horse, or has some ridiculous notion of moving in with Juley (I will never forget her selfish unsubtle telling of Gus to get lost because she wanted to sleep with Juley). If we are meant to feel sympathy with her, something is going terribly wrong.

However, lately she has not been as bad. a) While Louisa is still bad (I agree, she was horrific in Essex) she has improved and toned down a little. b) While Ruby is still being a little brat there have been instances where people have called her on this (ie, Charlie on Thursday) which at least means the audience perception of her and how the writers want us to see her are not widely out of sync as I think they were during Ruby/Juley.

However there is still a lot of work to be done to rescue the character. If they manage, good. If they cut their losses and axe her...well, I wouldn't be that bothered.

At first I liked her but like the rest of you she has become really annoying. The main reason for this I feel is because of the way Johnny treated her, he made her what she is today. However hopefully now that Ruby has been put with Jake and Grant the character will stop being annoying and go back to how she used to be. Ifeel certain that Grant and Jake will make her tow the line:)

i used to like the character, but now shes so annoying and it seems to be the same thing over and over again! the actress is awful, i hate watching her scenes, when shes trying to be angry or something all she does is bob up and down and wave her arms around, she looks stupid!

She is really nanoying and gets on my nerves, i also don't think Lousia who plays her is brillaint either, i mean she can be good sometimes but others, i think she is quite wooden, and compared to say Lacey Turner (stacey) who i think is amazing, louisa is rubbish.

I'm probably one of the very few here. But I like Ruby, and think that Louisa is a good actress. Yeah so RUby maybe annoying somtimes, but thats what you'd expect from someone who has gone through what she has. And Louisa.... well I think she's a good actress.. sure she makes Ruby whiney and all, but shes probably told to act that way. If she wasnt good enough she wouldnt be there.... i mean she aint the best looking person on the cast is she? so surely it's not just for looks! And to put up with all the character bashing she gets (not pointing at ANY one here) cause I know your just making an opinion, but alot of people dont like ruby cause of the whiney ness and stuff.. so I say goood on Louisa!! I reckon she might get better. The way it's heading at the moment it seems as if she's going to be associating with a lot of older characters. And that her circle is getting wider. When she turns 18 she's going to have the club, and that will give her some opportunity. Excepting stuff off her father is a big step for her, and it seems that she's going to try and make it work.

She's going to have to make everything work for herself, and that's something that's bound to change her.

like starla said about being in worse scenarios yeah thats true we all have been in bad places from time to time that dont mean you got the god given right to shout at charlie for instance for accepting money if someone done what he done for her to me the last thing i would do is shout at him.Another thing that annoys me (and i am gonna get slated) is the convincing her dad to go to prison i mean at the time she only knew he killed one person so why go through all that im not saying that its ok to kill someone but at the end of the day he is flesh and blood to her but i supose i dont know it feels to have a dad thats killed someone (although i have my suspicions :lol: )

so i do think it is bang out of order to act like a brat to people who put you up in their home i also think you shouldnt turn on your family (but i supose there are reasons to why she did it and im not holding it against her)

on the plus side over a year shes grown up and came out of her shell and had to learn some hard lessons.but i think we can all agree the juley lesson was good for her because i think she learnt from it and she could only get stronger from it i think working on the market stall was good for her and of course her freindship with stacey.

The actress isnt as bad as some people say although i know diddly squat about acting so im not going to argue about that
