With nearly 40,000 Sky+ boxes out there and a few of us on the forums how well do users of SKy+ think that it does at its job.

In simple terms are you happy with the product?

I know sometimes i have failed recordings and technical problems every now and then. But i couldnt be without sky + now!

i don't have sky+ but I want it. I have telewest at the moment I pay around £50 a month for the tv, phone and broadband so I'm not sure how much more it would cost to change to sky+

kath how many boxes do you have? tv drive is from telewest you only get it at the mo if you ask for it. If you have additional boxes your paying £15 just now for the rental if you keep one of them and get tvdrive as another box you will get installation free and you additional stb will go down to £5.

You can record two programes at once and you get 80 hours free - its brilliant give them a call

I'm extremely happy with my Sky +, couldn't live without it.

I have had technical faults and failed recordings, but apparently Sky are working on software updates which are causing them and in the last couple of months, haven't had any failures at all *yay smiley*

I only have one telewest box in the living room but I will see them about a tv box as marley is asking for the cartoon network and other channels for her room.
Thanks Lee

Prob the best bits of it are you being able to pause a programme if someone knocks your door or the phone rings, then you dont miss a bit of it.
Also recording two progs at once so you dont watch one and miss the other, its brill i deffo couldnt be without it now.

id like sky plus but i dont think i couldnt survive without it. especially as aloto f shows are repeated. My friend says its god when to programmes are on at the same time. It took me long enough to persuede dad to get sky, i think sky+ would take a bit longer.

Sky + is fab. It is especially good for deaf people as it also records subtitles.

It took me ages to persuade my boyfriend to get sky+, he couldn't see the point of it really, but now he says its the best thing we've got in a long time. Its g8 for my son as well, he's fav shows are on a different times of the day but now he can watch them when he wants

I definately couldn't live without my sky +, it's handy to have some childrens programmes for my son whose two and expects his programmes on when he wants to see them and not when there scheduled for. I've only put happy though as we're already on our second box
