Angela Lonsdale, who played Curly Watts' wife Emma in Coronation Street, will appear as the ex-wife of The Bill's DC Terry Perkins.
In the storyline, Terry (Bruce Byron) finds himself thinking about reconnecting with his two children. However, his ex-wife, Helen, is far from happy to see him turn up on the doorstep after two years and even less impressed when she finds out he had a relationship with his sister-in-law, Lucy Perkins.
Angela will be back on our screens from Wednesday, April 26th and looks to be with the show until at least October.
