dots changed

has anyone noticed that dots character has changed i remeber when she used to talk to dennis with her little heart to hearts with him and that was really good to watch but now shes obsessed with this joe/bert thing and at first it was good but now its just been on for too long, and shes not the caring/loving person she used to be i mean she hasnt talked to sonia about jim or phil about ben beacuse they even used to talk eg. in the launderette when she told him she had cancer they had a heart to heart then ,now she is just wrapped up in that house all the time looking for either joe or bert and i know she is the type of person to gossip and stuff but i think they are starting to ruin this character she never shows her soft side anymore anyone else think this to?

I thought Jim wouldn't want to talk about Sonia in the house because he thinks its purely wrong. Then again I have missed 2 weeks of EE so I need to catch up!!

Dot is too OTT now. He obsession with Joe etc and her bible quoting is so annoying now.

I agree that her character has changed a lot and the Dot/Bert/Joe story is dragging on way too long. She has also become OTT as well. There are less heart to hearts shown with her and other certain characters and she used to see the good in people but now she's seeing the bad in people, Joe is a good example :)

There are hardly any good characters in EE these days, and the good ones they do have have total personality transplants within episodes, e.g. Dot, Ian. :wall: :wall:

It is worrying that I am even fed up of Dot who is one the better characters on the show. I don't think my favourite character list can get any smaller.

I have a lot of favourite characters in Eastenders at the moment and one of them is Dot, but if they carry on letting her be OTT, then her character will be going downhill for me.
