This thread is where ALL discussions of Sam and Phil can be made.

It is clear that many of you like the characters of Samantha Nixon and Phil Hunter, and that you would like to see them together as a couple.

However recently every thread has become polluted with comments about the pair getting together. This is annoying many members, and is unecessary.

Please refrain from talking about the pair in other threads. This issue has been discussed by the mods on the site, and we have all agreed that if you fail to do as we've asked then alerts/warnings and in extreme circumstances 3 days bans will be issued.

Yeah i thought that he just wanted to look out for her as a friend as well. It would be great in the future though if Phil and Sam finally got it together, it would be brilliant and i think they would be the most realistic couple in the Bill's history just because we have known both characters for so long and their friendship/working relationship has been built up so well in the time they have been in the show :)

i totally agree with this, but i've been thinking about it recently and if it takes sam and stuart being together for a bit to make phil jealous enough to book up his idea's and for sam to realise how much she really loves phil, then i think i can cope with the grossness for a while

I know that Stuart and Sam kiss before going out for another romantic date. But before she tells him that she fears he'll use her, then he tells her that he loves her alot. But also, I think that Phil tries to split them up, whether there actually going out I don't know, but he gets really jealous of them.

I know that Phil likes Sam alot, and he's trying to look out for her but does it seem like it's ok for him to move on but not her. Greg Webster, he got jealous but Sam had to accept the fact that he went from her to Kate to Cindy.

I actually think that Stuart may have a crazy side to him, it's just the look that he has, it makes him seem like he has a crazy side, and maybe a nasty side too! but we have had so many bent coppers in the Bill in the past few years, that i think they should take a break from that now so i hope Stuart doesn't turn out to be crazy!!

On the official the bill website they are running a poll to see who sam should fall in love with. You can choose from phil, stuart or someone else who isn't a copper. I voted for Phil!:thumbsup:You can view the results after you have voted and Phil is winning so far but it is quite close between the three!

It was just basically about a Sam/Phil/Stuart love triangle over the summer. Sam can't decide which one of them she wants so it looks like she will be dating both of them at the same time. It says she may be heading for heartbreak. Also Smithy and Kezia are going to get together, thats roughly all it said. Hope this helps :o

Ok, since we have this lovely thread but noones put anything since 22nd June I might as well start somehting new off ...... The episode most recently, last Thursday was so good. Phil was really showing his compasionate side. I can't believe Sam said yes to Stu though! Come on! A mistaker in the maker! I think Phil as going to admit he loved Sam in the car park but then Stu HAD to turn up didn't he! Oh my god, the writers must hate us! They're toying with our emotions and our beliefs! We've got to keep the Phil and Sam dream alive!

Stuart is as dodgy and creepy as they come. I think Sam is only with him because Phil hasn't told her what she wants to hear yet, although he was about to when slim ball interrupted. i got so mad when i watched that ep!! it was soooo good and sooo bad at the same time! Phil was obviously gonna tell Sam that he loved her!! Sam is so stupid!!! but hey, lets concentrate on the positives; it showed how much Sam cared about Phil by covering for him and being worried about Alfie and same for Phil as he was so upset about her and Stuart and how worried he was when she was attacked. at least theyre friends, that´ll do..... for now!!

I heard about this spoiler..i hope Sam is pregnant, it would be an interesting storyline and she could agonise over what she should do..if she goes to Phil first as well about it, it could bring Sam and Phil closer together.

You have a point there..she probably wouldn't risk her baby's health by travelling to Romania, she would probably be on light duties or even maternity leave by then...depending on when they are going to Romania.

I don't think she is pregnant. one of the many reasons being Romania. The Romania episodes are due to be shown in September, so Sam wouldn't be very far into the pregnancy but i very much doubt she would go on a high-risk, dangerous operation however far gone she is. I think it will be a pregnancy scare that will make her re-evaluate her relationship with Stuart. The fact that she turns to Phil first (even when they're not getting on very well) and the proposed sam/phil action due for Romania, leads me to think that she will realise she doesnt want want Stuart's baby, and may be the end of their relationship! Well, fingers crossed!

Apparently Sam IS pregnant but when Stuart tells her he'll be there for her whatever, she tells him tearfully that she wants to decide this alone. so it's going to be quite sad, she possibly may have an abortion.

I don't think she would want to bring up a kid alone, but she's done it once, I think she'd do it again if she had to. I just can't really see her having an abortion. If she did have the baby and wasn't with Stuart, i definatley think she'd turn to Phil for support.

my thinking on the Sam pregnancy is that she will get rid of the baby as its more dramatic and will strengthen the bond between her and phil whilst weakening the bond between her and stu! plus how would she be able to stay a copper at sunhill with a new born baby, it would mean at least a year of maternity leave and there would be no way for the story to go. Also the writers have not spent the last 2 and a half years building the sexual tension between Sam and Phil for it to amount to nothing so i think it is inevitable the pair will get together! i think the writers (and the actor who plays stuart) have done a good job at making him unlikable and mysterious so i dont think he will be a permanent fixture in the show!!

Im afraid i really cant say anymore, there has been alot of issues with spoiler leakages of to much detail down at the set, so im afraid its much harder to get and give any details of storys nowadays, and whilst i do still have one or two regular sources it would be too easy to narrow it down back to me due to the now limited amount of people who can get accsess.

I was just wondering aloud, as you do! lol! I think it would be better if she miscarried cos then i think she would shut Stuart out and turn to Phil for support. Also, i can kind of see Stu blaming her for the miscarriage, espeially if it happened in Romania, which would basically split them up.

i agree Bex, think that as the emphasis is put on phil and sam during the Romania episodes it will be very likely that it is at this time she has a miscarriage where phil can be there to comfort her and Stuart is left out in the cold. perhaps when stu finds out that Sam is pregnant he tries to stop her from going to Romania, but as she decides to go (witout making any decision over keeping the baby) then has a miscarriage stuart is likely to blame her and this could be the end of the relationship. i cannot see Sam having an abortion, also in reality women of Sams age tat get pregnant are at a higher risk of miscarrying

It would be sad if she had a miscarriage but it could be the final push for her to go to Phil. However, I think it would happen after Romania. Also, if she did have a miscarriage then it would soften her up even more and she'd probably open to someone, with any luck phil, about her feelings. Plu she'll experience more emotions because a miscarriage is very emotional.

However, I suggest people don't write 'I hope she has a miscarriage' just in case someone who has experience something like that reads it and is offended. I don't know if anyone has put that but just in case . . . . . . . :)

whatever appens with this storyline it is likely to be very believable as lisa maxwell is such a brilliant actress that she can really get viewers to empathise with her characters situation.

A great episode last night...Sam has seemed to go off Stuart as she seemed to be throwing herself into the case with that man's father in the freezer and working alongside Phil...Sam and Phil are definetly getting closer which i'm glad about! She felt she could confide in Phil more than Stuart...which may be a sign that Sam trusts Phil more than Stuart.

And they both smiled at each other at the end which was sweet, i think Sam fancies Phil now.

I think she likes him alot and Stuart's pushing her into big things. A baby so soon may not be what she wants. Stuart does say that he'll be there for her whatever she decides but I think he really wants the baby becasue it's with Sam and means he has another thing over Phil and if they have a child he'll think she won't leave him for Phil. It's like his security blanket. But if she has an abortion or miscarriage then the security blankets gone and Phil's able to wriggle in again. :D

Hence why these episodes have been strategically placed to be aired here, so that they are fresh in peoples minds which subsequently will hopefully increase votesfor primarily the show but also for the actors/actresses involved, and like you said especially for Lisa with her being nominated again.

Lol its realli not that bigger deal, its normaly a good night tho and the party is the best part with all the free champers, i think the red carpet is the worst section. You should enjoy the actual show, tho its normaly slightly long winded, keep looking down if you want to see the cast, alot of them normally only come for limited amount of time or arrive late/leave early.

Oh the biggest rift maker was when Phil told Sam that Stu didn't want kids and wouldnt make that mistake to get someone pregnant. I know she lied to Phil about being pregnant, but he's the one she's going to turn to when she miscarries.

Sam might not have been lying when she said the test was negative it is quite common for a first test taken early to show negative, even when the person is infact pregnant, but if people continue to feel ill and are still late then they often take another pregnancy test. These are often quite inaccurate.

I just watched the episode where Sam and Stuart first kissed, and it was interesting as just before they kissed, Stuart said to Sam, i dont want to get in the way of you and Phill, and she replied there is nothing between me and Phill. How ironnic, that it started with Phil in mind, and it will end with Phil in mind.
She was obvioulsy oblivious to what she felt then unlike now. But it made me realise that now its coming to an end, im actually glad they got togther for a bit at least, just because you could see in that episode that Phil and Sam wernt ready to be togther then but they soo are now, so it makes it seem much more right!!!

Sam really has had it bad with boyfriends, which i think is why its taken her so long to trust Phil enough to go out with him.

I agree. I think its made them both realise what they could of had, but didnt take. Phil having to watch Sam with someone else, and Sam with the differences in the way Phil and Stuart reacted.

I totally agree!! I keep thinking "oh, its only a few weeks" but then this weekend has drawn out sooooo long!! I'm goona start getting withdrawal symptoms if all this stuff doesn't happen soon!! Thankfully we get a few Huxon (hehe!!) moments each week until Romania- then we get two whole episodes!!! Can't wait!

Not yet, that's a bit soon after getting together. As long as they dont break them up within a few months of getting together, their whole relationship has been will they/wont they.

It can work as long as the writers don't get it into their heads to muck us fans about, and have it on/off again after Romania.

Nah, i work for Granada TV, and therefore ITV!! The bill is in my ITV remit, hence why i get some insider info and have to visit the studios and stuff. I dont work there full time though, as im still at uni finishing my degree! Yes i have met Lisa and Scott, Lisa about 9/10 times, Scott abit less, infact i have met quite a few members of the cast- sometimes on set, sometimes at press release's or talkshow appearences, but mainly at awards nights and launch parties and stuf like that, thats why i get VIP AaA at the NTAs and different things like that. You get to meet all sorts of people at them events. I was lucky cos i only got into it through my modelling, which was quite random!!

I really cant get use to this whole huxon thing, dont get my wrong i think its good and all, but i just seems weird people using that to refer to sam and Phill!!

We saw in the preview clip that Phil tells Stu what's happening with Sam and to go see her. I think that's so nice of Phil considering he hates Stuart.

Lol its a story you problerly wouldnt believe in a million years, but basically i got spotted in the street by a women, ithought it was a fake so didnt go, and then randomly the man who worked alongside this women spotted me the day after again, so i went along and then it took of from there really!!

I must say i prefer just sam and phill too, all these other names just confuse my brain lol!!!

I agree with you there. It says they are made to face each other when the gun is held to their heads and Phil tries to calm Sam down. I think that almost dying so soon after they got together will make them realise that they love/need each other and not to waste ANYMORE time!! I mean it has taken them 3/4 years already!!

I think sam is realising now how caring and loving phil is. Stuart is kind of like what phil was like when he first started and the reason sam and him did nt really get on.
I loved the hugging scene in a way phil knows what its like to loose a child as he lost maddison and alfie i know its not the same as mis carrying but phil cares for sam

I think Sam definatly realises, how good Phil has been through all of this, even with putting his feelings for Stuart aside to ensure that she was OK!! I cannot believe that Stuart didnt even try and console her when she was breaking her heart at the end, all he did was go and stand by the fire place, if i was her i would ofm lobbed a varse in his direction or something like that.

Fantastc acting by Lisa tonight though, she put in a very moving performace i thought, showing grief, dispair and confusion, as well as trying to show a lack of acceptence in the middle of the episode. Brilliant!

That episode was, i think, possibly the best one out of all the SP eps we've had so far! I can't believe Stu just stood there and shouted out about Phil and didn't even try to comfort Sam! And that hug between Sam and Phil- awwwwww! Bless him, he's so sweet! I think it was really nice of Phil to tell Stuart to go see Sam, considering how much he hates Stuart!
Lisa Maxwell was awesome in the whole of the ep. She had me in tears at the end! Scott Maslen was great as well, of course!
Really looking forward to next tuesday and thursday now!!

omg, how horrible is stuart? he was basically blaming her for losing the baby saying he WOULD have been there for her and it wasnt HIS fault she chose to tell phil. doesn't that tell him something???????? like that he's a total jerk and sam really LOVES phil?

awwwwwww the hug was so cute. they both looked so comfortable with it as well. shows how close they really are and how close they can become now that stuart is oout of the picture :thumbsup: hooray :thumbsup:

although, i have to admit i was almost in tears at the end of the episode. poor sam, she was so sad. lisa was amazing as usual!

Miscarrying a baby must be one of the hardest things ever to go through and Stuart didn't even attempt to comfort her!! He's just sooo heartless. And that constant smug smile of his is REALLY getting on my nerves! Hopefully now he's not with Sam he'll get less screen time!! *fingers crossed*

I thought the acting was superb especially with Lisa at the end. Phil was so caring and sweet espesh compared to Stu - b*****d! He really was at the end not even caring, is he blind and couldn't see that she was distraut? Even if he hadn't wanted the baby he could have been more caring and their for Sam, she was his girlfriend after all - WAS!

I so glad she ended it with him, the episodes leading to Romani look so good and Romania - now words can describe how amazing they're gonna be! They probably won't die though, either it's the police who are shooting or they have wounds but don't die. I can imagine what could happen but I'm just so excited now ..... ok, because I think I'm babbling I'll go, lol

Talking of magazines, and press, there are loads of realeases in todays editions, main points include,

Sam gets promoted later on, and becomes Phil and Stuarts boss
Stuart finds out and becomes poisonus and reveals his true identity.
Its not just sex, its love making 'gentle and intimate'
Sam tells Phil she loves him, when they have the guns pointing at them, they both survive.
there relationship is going to develop, but as they have been through so much togther already, they dont know how to have a relationship togther. Its definatly not a one night stand!
