Ok, so i just went out and bought Inside Soap and TV Quick! I've scanned the articles about Romania. There's two double page spreads so i've had to scan them in halves, if you get what i mean.

I cant believe Sam apologised to Stuart tonight, it should have been him apologising to her about the way he acted towards her. Sooo glad they are over now, and now we can look forward to the cute scene on the thurs and these brilliant episodes next week.

Yeah she was avoiding him, and then he took her outside to speak to him and said if they were over he wants to know now, then she apologised told him it was over, he tried to change her mind by saying he would change but she just apologised again and walked away..... it should of been him apologising!!

I just watched last night's (tuesday's) episode. I cant believe how pleasant Sam was to Stuart! And i think its totally out of order how Stuart didnt apologise for how he treated Sam and his part in their break up!! I really do hate him!
There's no SP tonight (weds) as far as we know, but tomorrow's got the awesome bit with the wine and takeaway!! yay!!

Ino, i was like hello u did nothing wrong, its stuart who should be apologising! and he just totally stood there as if she as in the wrong! i wish he would just go and get shot or somthing highly dramatic like that, bring back Ramani any day over him.

Ahhh, well now you know!! I thought last nigtht's episode was really good actually; all it was missing was some SP!!
So, i bought two more mags today! The guy in the post office was like "why do you need two??" I thought it best not too explain; i probably would've been late for school, explaining the last 4/5 years of SP to him!! :D :D

I keep watching the preview over and over, shame the kissing bit isn't in it, but then where would be the suspence in that!?!
A really great episode last night, perfectly leading up to Romania. Now Sam is totally sure of Phil's lovely, cute, sweet, romantic side before they go!!

Scott is on gmtv on wednesday i looked on loose women no mention of lisa and i have cheacked the paul o grady but not up but some one said that itv actors do not go on it because he switched or some thing.
And sharon os has not been updated yet and most problay there will be some kind of behind the scenes thing on a show.
I was wopndering if there is a website for sam and phil or any fanfic sites.
Went out and bought tv quick befor it gives people hope that they do actually have a relationship back home

Im pritty sure that Lisa isnt on Loose Women next week!! Scott is definatly on GMTV though, and nope i doubt they will be on Paul O grady, i think ITV was putting some rule on that subject abut no appearing on his show. Im sure there was talk of something been on This morning on Wednesday, perhaps its Lisa if Scott is doing GMTV!
Lol Oh a hamster, thats what it was yes, i just seen a fluffy costume, i picked the wrong week to be in the audience for that i should of gone this week instead of in a few weeks when im booked 4 it, then i cud of got Ant n Dec n the bill all in one night. lol.

There aren't any SP websites, as such, but there are a couple of MSN Groups, namely; phil4sam and SP Obsession. Theyre pretty awesome. There are quite a few fanfic sites out there but fanfiction.net is def the best!

Anyone watch the episode on UK Gold this morning, it was the one with Phil/Sam in the tunnels- where they first became friends, aw it was soo good!! And good timing what with tomorrows episodes, where the finally get togther!! I didnt realise just how close they actually came to kissing, i just emeberd phil trying it on and Sam saying no, but shwas actually going to kiss him for a moment then. They were so cute in the hospital, gutted i wont see tomorrows.
Im sooo excited for these episodes!! cant wait now!!!

btw, i watched both scott on gmtv and lisa on the sharon osbourne show
scott was mainly talking abouthis modelling work and they showed a couple of photo's from years ago. then he was just explaining the storyline in Romania, what it was like filming there and how it was inevitable sam and phil would get together at some point
lisa was talking about her earlier years as well, doing comedy shows and impresions. her impersonation of frank spencer was quite good, lol. se also said how she did most of her own driving on the show last night coz her stunt double was a 6ft romanian man with a blond wig on, lol
i love them both. roll on tonight!!!

They proper went for it with the kissing last night!! Glad it was Sam that initiated the kiss, aswell.

i watched gmtv yesterday asi actually remembered to put a tape on for once and he looked quite good lol, and i watched lisa and she looked fab and i liked her impersonation of frank spencer and she said no one will know who he is i tought everyone knew who frank was
and the bill was really good as soon as i got in i watched my tape (my sister had the ump as she wanted to watch charmed) and it was all fab and when they were at the station phil was winding stuart by touching sams waist and stuff and tehn in romania when he was meeting them girls sam was so worried about him and then they kissed but considering what they filmed thats was ment to happen after the kiss they didnt show it
I enjoyed last nights show but what was weird was the music! But I liked how I didn't really know what was going to happen next though I did! Maybe they will show what was supposed to happen after tonight?!
I also liked the way phil wound Stuart up, I would like to see more of that!

and then, when they were talking to each other at the end outside the station. bless them. and they walked away from each other smiling. i love them. they are perfect

they were good episodes and it was sweet and all i really thought it was gonna be better the bits were good with sam and phil but they never went into much they were very vague with things and i thought the gun bit was gonna be better
but lisa and scotts acting was fab through all of it though

ok, i know you guys are going to hate me for saying this!!lool but i actually didnt think it was that great - i was kind of disappointed. im glad they got together and stuff as much as you lot are but all in all i wasnt left thinking 'wow' - i think its cos there had been so much hype about it i thort it was going to be amazing and was left thinking it wasnt so. actually sam nixon sums it up for me - all rather vague!
Last nights episode was like so cool. Wish I saw Wednesdays. Must watch The Bill at all times. Loved the gunpoint bit and wish they got together properly.

:heart: :heart: :heart: Loved last nights episode, the uneasiness the morning after was great. Wasn't too impressed with the gun scene, but when they caught the ring leader that was funny.
How funny was it when everyone turned Stuart down :rotfl: :rotfl:
As for the end it was so sweet Sam finally accepted the fact her and Phil have some thing more than friendship. Glad to see she didn't jump in like she has in the past, especially with Stuart. Now they can take the relationship to a new level, and not rush things. :wub: :wub: :wub:
I enjoyed the sam and phil bits, but they weren't as good as i thought they would be!
I also loved stuart being turned down by everyone, serves him right!!

ok then, maybe the storyline wasn't that good, but to be honest, i'm afraid to say i don't really mind this week. i thought the sam and phil bits were great and i though that was the point of those 2 episodes, so i'm very very happy!
also, i didn't mind the music. a little odd maybe, but they were in a different setting, so they had different sounds
will be interesting to see stuarts face when he finds out. :rotfl: he got well and truly turned down :lol: brilliant

i really dont think you could fault lisa and scotts acting they make it so believable. i loved the way the characters have evolved over the last 4 years. The Romania storyline allowed both actors to showcase their talent and skills, however the script/story writers could have made it a bit better, and had it been any other actor the show could have been alot worse. i think the bill writers were saved by the brilliant acting performances given.

I think Lisa in particular was amazing! She really stood out. Especially when Sam was having the panic attack and when they were held at gun point. She was outstanding!

yeah the actng was superb but what can you expect lisa and scott are always great lol and i agree adorableangel if it was other actors it would have been worse and i also think doug was a lot better in them 2 episdoes than he has been so far in the bill

I agree the acting from both of them was amazing and lisa was brilliant in the panic attack then when the gun was at her head i like how when she is upset she goes all quiet when she talks.
Scott was also briliant i love how his character has become more caring about things like when that girl was murdered and he did nt want it to happen to anyone else and how he cared for sam when he said he had already nearly killed her once

Yes that is one of the best bits of acting i have ever seen you could tell she was really really scared and that showed in her voice.
When they got back and stuart was like what was bucharst like and she said i took a lot of assumptions with me but they was wrong.
What did she mean by this?

i took it to mean that she thought phil was just after sex, like he has been previously with other women. but then, even after they slept togther, he tried to protect her from the gunmen. and then he was asking about their relationship. i think he made a huge step towards convincing her that he wants more than just a physical relationship with her, although that part would still be good

Yeah i agree with you guys. I loved that line- had great double meaning. I think she meant that she had these assumptions about Phil and what he was like, but she realised some of them were wrong, because he was sooo sweet and caring to her when she was scared. Really great line!

and last night heaton told georgia he didnt want to see her again so she said he should now call her mam, yvonne and honey and the new girl and someone together and they were sent to different crimes a group of teenagers had done like stripping a homeless person and stuff like that and yvonne got one of them wet with soap so was suspended, roger was found drunk in the hospital by the new girl and he then went to a shop to get alcohol and was caught up in a rade nad said go on then shoot me and then the gun exploded in the persons hand so they got hurt and roger realised he didnt want to die

Yeah this thread has been really dead recently!
Last nights episode was great! Sam and Phil were soo cute. Loving that Sam is the one pushing the relationship.
Stupid Stuart interfering and generally being a b*****d!! lol!
I think things will be ok for them if they just ignore Stuart. But thanks to recent spoilers we know Stuart finally shows his evil side to Sam when he goes to far in an interview. Hopefully that'll make her see him for what he really is.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see really, but, hey, *fingers crossed*!!

Meadows should've handed the case to the drugs squad, and let Zain stay as the mole. Something is going to go belly up with this and Zain is going to end up dead.

I had a REALLY wierd dream last night. I've been dying to tell someone but I think people will think I'm wierd dreaming about people out of the bill.
I was working in tesco and my 2 friends came in and they asked if I was going downtown so I said yes. I went upto the locker room and got my stuff then went back to meet them. We were walking down the path and they suddenly morphed into Sam and Phil! I was really calm, I don't think I really noticed it.
Anyway, they were holding hands and I asked why they were holding hands. Sam showed me her left hand and she had a ring on her wedding finger. I was like "oh my god, thats brill!" Then Sam said Phil had proposed with a gold rose. I was like "ok, you mean a real rose that was gold?" and she said yes. Then we talked for a bit about the wedding.
How wierd was that?

Yeah but on Wednesday when Neil asked her if she was ready to announce it she said she wanted to tell Phil and Stuart first. I don't remember her announcing it or referring to herself as DI during both episodes.

There's Mickey and Stuart. Mickey was a DS but he was demoted a while back. Stuart doesn't deserve to be DS. Terry is probably the best one for the job (I'd prefer Mickey but the chances of him being promoted again are slim). Although we haven't seen Terry for a while.
Now you mention Zain leaving they're going to be a DC and a DS down. So if somebody gets promoted to DS that means there's two spaces for DC's. Though if Jo is back maybe that will only mean on DC position. She's just arriving as he's leaving so maybe she's his replacement.

Hi. can anyone help me please. I saw romania in May - about 3 months ago. Saw 1 - but dont remember much. Taped 2. ive been reading the posts from the previews of these eps. In romania 1 was there actually a sex scene?
In my 2 ep it shows after it - sam in bed, sheet around her while phil is on chair protecting her, sheet around him. in my tape of them back after being off 2 weeks (phil came back from visiting his mum), the previously bit shows them kissing holding hands on the bed.
so...again...was there actually a sex scene - because i missed it!!aaggghhhh!!!

right, originally i think a longer scene was meant to be used, rater than them just kissing from what lisa and scott said in interviews but in the end the only thing it was, was the 2 of them kissing.

Hi im new here. i only got into the show seriously regularly in may after seeing romania 2 when i became hooked. im in sydney and we are 8 months behind the uk. why didnt the writers want them together? was a reason given? I dont like that she never gave him (much) chance to prove himself. and why does she listen to stuart still even though she broke up with him prior to romania? we here had sam break up with phil 4 weeks ago tonight.Im suffering samphil withdrawals big time!!! since ive become a regular viewer since may ive been reading all the posts on diff forums regarding them since 04 to catch up on what youve all seen, and ive read the bios on the characters too, and the articles on the lisa site.
they have so much natural chemistry - so why didnt the writers want them together? did the station know about her and stuart? or about her and peter? (played by ozi actor peter obrien one of the original actors from Neighbours way back when).

The station deff knew about her a peter cavanagh (sp) as onethey snogged outside the station, then he took her hostage in his car (one of the best ever storyline in my oppinion lol)

thanks for the help samantha nixon. much appreciated. and is that the reason she didnt want to be station gossip re phil. Mind you with stu being 10 years younger, and phil only 7 years, i cant see it makes any diff. and especially the fact that phil is a much nicer person(as in caring/protective/shoulder etc), and the nicest of the whole lot of the men she's been with: Peter (played by ozi peter o'brien an original neighbours cast member going back to 20 years),stu and phil ( i dont know anything about abi's dad- who was he and was he a cop too?) im not into phil's womanising ways, but its obvious he was changing/did change for sam. she should have given him much more of a chance than she did. why did she still listen to stu even tho she broke up with him before romania?
and what about the writers. why didnt they want sam phil together?
right now im suffering sam phil withdrawals. she broke up with him 4 weeks ago tonight. am inpatiently awaiting her return. I think tonight was the 1st ep uk 07.

Abi's dad was a murderer, he killed someone when he was a kid and sam didnt tell abi about him as she didnt want her to get hurt, but abi found out and qutie a few problems arose (another great set of storylines)
The reason why i think she wanted to keep her and phil secret is because she didnt want to be station gossip.
And shes wary of men and how they treat her as she has been hurt so many times before, as her old lecturer also caused problems for her aswell and they used to date.
and about the writers they didnt wantthem together something to do with their caracters change when they are together ie phil isnt so hard, naughty, flirty and all of that.

and a biiiiiig thank you for the info re the writers!!!their reasoning is a bit confusing. the actors only interpret what the writers give them to do, the director directs the interpretation of it. so if the writers didnt want them together why did they write the script that phil changes his character around sam? or was it the fans who got them together? - so the writers had no choice? thank goodness sam and phil did get together - but fans wanted them to stay together and not break up. ive also read a post by Sam Nixon Fan tht stuart was brought in to move the story along. which is also what i think is unfair and i guess so do the rest of the longstanding fans (ie those of 04 plus -, and no doubt the originals from 02) - that sam was with stu longer in terms of relationship - including living with him than she was with phil.
i suppose all these twists and turns make for great ratings and so forth but it isnt fair to leave a carrot dangling indefinately. do you think that sam is still in love with phil. and because phil is a pivotal character (what the news reports had), is scott leaving one of the biggest new items the show has had?

erm he killed when he was a kid before sam knew him as he was in a young offenders thing, but they were quite young when they were together and im not sure when he told sam whether it was before abi was born or when she found out she was pregnant im not sure.
and yh sam has been with quite a few people lol, and she will flirt to get what she wants (alan kennedy case) but she has also been hurt loads, whereas with phil he has been with loads of girls, and flirts at everyting but usually he is the one that hurts them (his wife cindy)

Im looking forward to seeing phil punching stu - it should air by Dec... but not looking forward to his temporary demotion - the only good thing is seeing phil in uniform... i take it jack at that time (your April) still dosnt see thru Stu? on Stu's arrival, didnt jack say he worked with him or knew of him from West End? or was that another SH CIDer?
On another note the romanian immigrant who's wife went missing re the sex trafficking..... was in Inspector Lynley tonight....lucky ive got more than 1 video - 1 for TB, the other for IL - both airing Sat. night at 8.30... I think his character was Bosnian.

no. uk gold is on foxtel which I dont have. We get the repeats on ch 2 (abc) -Free to air tv . In fact, todays (Mon) ep (417) was the 'last' for 2 weeks. From tomorrow they are screening Q/A time from/at parliament house - which gets ratings so Im told - --- and that TB is basically a filler for when parliament isnt sitting. I rang ch 2 up and they told me this. I was only told TB repeats were on about 5 weeks ago and Ive been watching ever since. Im very glad Im not missing out (so far ie) on the beginnings of the triangle. I printed up the eps list so I can work out what ep is on when (repeats and current)
Thank goodness today was a Sam Phil Stu ep. Mind yu Im sick of all the Sam Stu scenes!!! And today Stu's true nature was partially exposed and sam witnessed it and had a go at him, at work, in the CID office, and Phil witnessed it----Good. Glad to see Stuart get caught out. Im sure he's a mega narcissist (in love with himself).
Im not looking forward to her moving in with him.
In the last scene what did Stu mean by telling Phil he (P) wants to be like him but he cant and it bothers him? At first I thought Stu was telling Phil he (P) wanted Sam for himself. Or was it both meanings? Because Phil told him he was onto him as in playing the office, especially Sam, and he only backstepped an apology to a victim to impress Sam - which it did. Because in what other way does Phil want to be like Stu (and he hates him anyway). Stu's mega huge ego is talking here i think. Am I right in thinking S knows that P is in love with S and wants her himself?
And.....finally Sam is back in the current eps - back on next Saturday (18th).

I was reading my printouts of the forums ive done and re read the stuff re Romania (yes broken record) , and reading the stuff where people wanted to see more of Scott and what apparently Lisa accidentally saw by accident while filming (dare I say lucky Lisa?!?), and I suddenly remembered that site, and wondered whether to put up or not. Should I post the same message in the ordinary stuff - cause its not about Phil but is it classed as a spoiler? Or not re do it at all?
By the way, I know that Phil is due back on your screens on the 15th, and Sam is Finally Back on our (well Syd/Melb) screens on Saturday after being gone 5 weeks). Who Jolly Ray. Interesting that she's on with Stu and Jo as well as Phil...

Hey DetBarb, just been reading through some of your posts. Abi's dad's name was Glen Weston and Sam was trying to protect her and Abi began to hate her and wanted to move out. She and a friend had a load of webcams up in the friend's flat where they filmed them at the computer, going up the stairs and basically everywhere, and Abi had an account on some website that Sam found out about for which the password was Weston.
I think that Sam and Phil would have worked - they worked well together in Romania and it was obvious how much he cared for her afterwards, with him abandoning a chase to check on her as she had been knocked to the floor. He knew her better than anyone, and she couldn't hide it from him for long when she was pregnant by Stewart, and he was the one that convinced her to take the test that was positive. With him involved there, I think they really bonded when she miscarried.

Thanks heaps for your info - it is very much appreciated!! One of the reasons I keep going on about this section of topic is because I am a late devotee of Phil and Sam and I have missed so much and want to know so much about the storyline.
I have seen the show a handful of times since 04 apparently - I first saw it when 'mad' Cathy was on and stopped because I wanted Brendan with Honey. I believe that aired in January - before the Weaver eps.
I also vaguely recall Adam Okaro's family being killed - or at least the aftermath of it. And I vaguely recall him with marijuana.
I used to watch TB when nothing else was on - but that changed with Romania. I havnt been this much into a couple since Blue Heelers PJ and Maggie was on. At least with them they were a secret couple for a few months then were outed and were a public one till her death 18 months later. Their storyline reminds me in a way to Phil and Sam. There were 10 years between them. She was uniform, he a D and she was from a police family. In fact her dad used to be her current boss's boss. PJ & Maggie had their Romania in a disused mine shaft. (Blue Heelers means a country cop). After it she was scared of being a couple because he had a reputation of being a ladies man.... But once he met Maggie that was it - but she had trust issues too... They finally got back together in the afternoon while he was on duty after she had been suspended. So they decided to be a secret. Then about six months later, the story had another D arrive who made a play for Maggie (a la Stu), but because they were a secret they couldnt say anything especially when the
2nd D was demoted to uniform because then the station would know and it was frowned upon having a relationship at the one/same station. But it did come out about them. with more twists as to whether she would stay with PJ or break up and go out with Ben because she did like him. By that time the boss ok'd it as long as they kept romance/work separate - for the most part. She stayed with PJ. They got engaged, and just as they were planning their wedding, she was shot dead by her corrupt D brother.
(This better not happen to Phil!!!)

With Phil and sam ive missed so much from what I can gather is the best romance TB has had.
And I cant understand why the storyliners/script writers dont want them together seeing how (from what Ive read) its what the majority want to see (as in their romance as opposed to others). SP have such amazing chemistry. I also dont like the 4 year old dangling carrot of will-they-wont-they - and the fact that Sam was with Stuart longer than Phil - and she was
coerced into letting him move in with her. I also dont like that she broke up with Phil after only 4 weeks - and that there 2 weeks eps of not seeing them in between romania and their return - and that sam didnt give him much of a chance to prove himself - and tht she listened to Stuart about her not trusting Phil.
Im trying to catch up what I havnt seen in scenes/heard in dialogue. Its why I want ITV to put out more DVD's and get to S20. I might have to invest in Foxtel I think. And the fact that Scott has quit means an end to the storyline too. Ch 2 here has been showing 06 repeats in the afternoon when Stuart arrived and Ive seen up to ep 417. These eps wont be back till 18 Aug. And Im having problems with my timer.

I was much the same and only really watched every episode when Sam and Phil were together. As it is, I only watch it every Thursday as that's when we're at my gran's house and she likes to watch it.
I remember the stuff with Brandon, Cathy and Honey. I watched the repeat of it on UKTV Gold a few years ago, and I remember the Okaro's being killed as it was shown on a Thursday. He watched one child die, then the other, then his wife.
Is it true that Adam and Gina used to be a couple? if so, what happened?
And... what is the relationship between Gina and Smithy? She acts like she is his aunt. Is she?
Back with Sam....on her return from her break/break up with Phil did she go back to Stuart as some fanfics have put or is that purely fiction - which I hope it is. Before Stuart asked to move in with sam/before she was pregnant, did Stuart know or guess that Phil was in love with sam?

On Stuarts arrival his (S) pushy side was obvious - the way he was taking over questioning, and offending Terry - ep 400-403; then Phil telling Terry Sam broke up with him (but not mentioning her name) ep 460 or 461, and I dont like that he muscled in on Suzi. Speaking of which, was Neil a mentor of sorts to Suzi? why wasnt there any romance there - because most of their scenes tht ive seen theyve seemed close. I also prefer Suzi to Kezia. And does Andrew Lancel have trouble opening his mouth? Ive noticed tht his lips barely open when he speaks.
And on her return, did Terry tell Sam how broken hearted Phil was/is? (as in trying to help the cause of getting them back).
Re what your about to see, im still optimistic that samphil will reunite,maybe get engaged/married or at the very least live together and he transfers. We all deserve it. Most especially the fans from 02 to 04 to 06. Because if you /we dont get a happy ending (of sorts(?) it will almost seem as if ITV got their ratings fraudulantly (by dangling the SamPhil carrot for over 4 years). A 4 week being together storyline isnt enough. Especially for the best romance story the show has had (from what Ive read).

What about the continuing story re Phil Sam Stuart - do you think Neil likes Sam? SamPhil are still in love. :love: Even if they are back to ignoring it. (we here only stated your 07 eps 10 days ago). I am not a fan of this huge drawn out pause of SamPhil - and not happy that she didnt give him much of a chance to prove his love/committment to her. Being in Oz I read the forums so know the gist/basics of whats happening in the UK.
I also dont like that Sam Stuart were an actual couple and lived together but SamPhil didnt.:(

That was me. But I didnt actually say Neil was shy but asked was he shy? But Ive been told no. Neil and Sam dont have any chemistry anyway.

omg, i was actually cryin last night at the end of the bill, when it showed what's gonna happen next week. it only showed a couple of seconds of phil telling sam that he's gonna miss her and i was off - couldn't stop crying for about half an hour - i'm such a loser! i don't think it's a good idea that i watch next week's episode!!! :crying:
