they no longer have the maternity department on the show? I wish that they had brought in a replacement for Owen and they kept the department on the screen - it has become so much more one sided now

I agree. I used to watch it all the time, but now its just boring. All the stories are really similar, they need more variety again.

it was nice to see the different departments in the same hospital - and the staffs interactions when they werent working together

I have only just realised reading this that they don't show it any more, i think they need to show it again, i mean holby for me was always about the rest of the hospital, and i think that alot of the storylines are very similar now

i didnt mind the maternity ward going as i was bored with the same love triangle stories in it every week, but now i am just bored with holby in general and have stopped watching it!

I loved all the birth stories, as I always cried when the babies were born. It also gioves the show a differnt dimension

I miss the maternity ward, I thought it was interesting and stuff. But I still like the rest of the departments, and have kinda got used to it not being there.

I like it best when they had the childrens ward on the show, they had Keri and Janice working on there. They then went on to having the maternity eard instead and now what ever its called lol.

i liked the childrens ward too. There was the other woman that worked there as well that was killed was it Victoria or something. Having the different departments made it different to other hospital dramas.
