Randomly thinking last night that if I had never joined SB I might have a life :lol: I'd talk to my friends more, go out to town more, do more revision and schoolwork... just genereally have a typical teenage life lol. Before I joined SB I just used to chat with my mates on the comp and make dollies ... so I'd probably just do that lol. My life would be so different... but I wouldn't have friends who I could feel I could really confide into, or have such a good laugh or just generally talk about soaps without 'Oh my god, you watch soaps they are so rubbbish' all the time. Even though I would have more of a life if I hadn't joined SB, I think I much rather perfer having joined and not having much of a life! :lol: :D
So what would your life be like without Soapboards?
I dunno, it'd be difficult to find another place with such cool people and to chat about all sorts of stuff
I would too probably have some sort of life too :rotfl: No i think that maybe if i hadn't of joined sb then i would just spend more time on the other boards i go on, or just get very very bored whilst on the computer!
If hadn't have joined SBS, I wouldn't have made some of the great friends that I have over the past year, and wouldn't have anyone but my son on my msn contact list. I would still do my same day to day stuff that I do now, but I have forged particularly good friendships with a few of you (you know who you are :D ) and for that, to SBS I am truly greatful...

yeh i hadn't thought of that, if i hadn't of joined wouldn't of met some of the great people i have (emmie you aren't included :p) and i have great freindships with alot of people and it is due to soapboards, so thanks! :)
BTW emmie love ya really - and peas aren't better :p

Life would be very boring and quiet qithout SBS, theres some slightly crazy people on here :p but they are all brilliant! :D The computer would be vory boring without SB...:p

well i was on the bbc boards before they closed, so when i joined here i was already on the computer a lot anyway
but sb is great and everyone is nice and friendsly

Agree there Emmie. I've met loads of people on SB, who share my interests and I can actually talk to. Without soapboards I wouldn't have anyone to talk about soaps with! Now my MSN list has more than just school friends and family on. I also wouldn't watch half the shows I watch. I wouldn't watch Dr Who, Lost, Footballer's Wives. I wouldn't know half the things I know about the Harry Potter movies. I probably have a bit more of a life and spend less time on the computer. I wouldn't have it any other way though. I love Soapboards

Id probably pass more exams because i actulary did college work with out being on here every few minutes. BUt then again everyone here is so nice

oh god without soapboards id be sitting around doing nothing all day everyday but id probably be doing more revision and have more of a social life not that i dont haveon already :p but i have met a lot of really nice people on here who share the same interests in soaps when i talk about soaps with my friends they get bored easily lol

I think my life will probably the be the same.. I use the computer for looking at stuff and talking on MSN and SB comes under looking at stuff and a bit of posting too. :)

I'd probably be pea-less...so there could be an up side :p (kidding Emmie) But yeah i agree with Ems, best thing to come out of sbs (for me) is all the friends i've made. But i'd probably just be playing yahoo pool all my life like i used to :p

my life would be a lot more boring. I would still be doing the normal stuff I do during the day like working and shopping at the weekend. but at night I would be increadily lonely as I would have not the friends that I chat to on msn and on shoutbox, or any the interaction I get with all SB members. I would just be sitting watching tv programmes that I dont particularly like.

my life would be still same, crazy clubbing and busy swotting up on my college coursework hehe
It would still be the same,but I would still have lots of friends to chat to on msn. I would miss reading the threads every day.I would miss the kindness of the people on here,like when my hubby died last year,it was a great comfort to know that so many people cared.

Oh my gosh i dunno i cant really imagine my life without it, i probably would always be on the internet but be extrmemly bored

it is a good addiction and it is better than most.. my day at work would last forever without the boards. I love coming on here and have made loads of friends. Would miss all of them if the boards closed.
Like Spicy, I found this just before BBC boards closed. had just joined them so I was lucky i did..
