easter eggs

traditionally you should not open your easter eggs until sunday, as my son and I are being good and not having any. I was wondering have you all been good and not opened your eggs and pigged out on them yet ? or are you not having any.

i'm not having any either. i only eat the bars from them and even that takes me months so they're usually thrown in the bin as they're out of date.

i only have one now from my uncle, when i was younger i used to get one from my parents and grandparents but they dont bother anymore cos its a bit of a waste of money really. i havent eaten mine yet and i always wait til easter

Never got any eggs as am too old for that, but I got some nice chocs instead from my mum :D Forgot about that, will eat them now oh yummy hehe

i think it is a waste. i don;t like most chocolate, i only like the co- op fairtrade chocolate and i get so much cadbury's which i think is the worst, so i end up eating loads to take away the taste

I started this thread,purely out of interest, to your easter egg,eating habits, I must say I am well shocked how good you all are,so many of you,waiting till sunday to open them. I have to admit, that when I was little I was lucky if I had any left by easter sunday :rotfl: Well done you are so good.

I don't have them. I don't eat dairy and non-dairy ones are hard to find so I just go without. :(

when we were younger we used to get loads of easter eggs wed still have them in june as we dont eat much chocolate well we never used to any way
and Florijo my mum cant have them either as she is allergic to dairy products

thats what happened with us, we only had chocolate once a week and we werent allowed to eat the easter egg all in one go so it took us a few months to eat all of ours
