Alice to die

I've just read in TV Choice that Alice is told next week that her treatment is not working and that she will die

Yeah she is told that she can have a more agressive chemo but it wont cure her just prolong her life although she will continue to be ill or she can stop treatment not live as long but feel better, so she decides to stop treatment and enjoy what time she has left she doesn't tell the dingles apart from Del who she swares to secrecy and she concentrates on her up coming wedding Sam.

I think Alice dying is a tad predictable. I mean it has done before with Butch and Emily. Now it looks like they are using a similar storyline with Alice and Sam... just slightly different.

does any one know when shes supposed to die? also what type of cancer is it she has? i know it was said but i cant remember. i think shes a brave actress through out the plot because she shaved off her hair and has portraied it well. hope she gets an award. :cheer:

I am actually really shocked by this spoiler because i really thought that Alice would recover from her cancer. It's really sad though. Poor Alice :( I think this will be really emotional and Sam will be left with baby Samson. The Dingles have had so much tragedy already :(

I read that when the doctors give Alice the news that she will die, she is given an option. She can either have an alternative form of chemotherapy that will prolong her life for a short while but it will make her very ill and she will have to stay in hospital or she can stop all treatment and enjoy the time she has left at home.

Yeah i read this as well. I think that Alice chooses the option of stopping chemotherapy so she can enjoy the time she has got left with Sam :)

It is true that the Dingles seem to have a high death rate - but they are also by far the biggest family.

Tonight's episode when she found out her chemo was failing was so sad. I felt really sorry for Alice, i think she's a tough cookie though :)
