Have marks and spencers got a image problem?
Yes, definetly. But they've brought it on themselves.
Personally, the only time i'll do there, is if i need some lunch. Thats because they sell good food. I'd never dream on looking for clothes in there, because it just doesn't sell anything for teenagers at all. They not only advertise everything on older people than me, but only sell things for them too. Thats stopped them getting so much profit, because they only target a very small age group.
Thats my opinion, anyhow...

I think they have but i dont think it really could have been helped its just what they are
The clothes they sell are very much for the older person,so I too only go in there for food sometimes, my local store is a outlet store and they sell cheaper clothes that havent sold in the west end, dont measure for bra's any more,as they where the only place to go for decent underwear but not anymore.

to be honest i dont really shop there lol i not to keen on the cloths they do:)
i thunk they do becuase the clothes that they make aren't the style that young people wear and the colours can sometimes be a little grim. i go in there for food and lingerie but apart from that there is nothing at all. the damage has been done and young people know that its for the older person.
maybe it is just me but I haven't seen any advertising recently for M&S clothes.. it has just been about the food.. damn expensive food at that.
They have good maternity clothes, that is the only time i have shopped there
i have... normally young looking models wearing clothes which are a little too old for them. theres one set in a big house and they're using it as a catwalk

The cloths have really changed in there and the prices are so high for what you get.
When we were little our mum used to buy our underware in there cos it lasted, now you wash it a couple of times and it falls apart. i dont go in there anymore.

id never buy any clothes from there, they look like older peoples clothes! i do buy tights for school there though, just cos they seem to fit better than from other shops but thats it, dont buy any of my other underwear from there anymore its way too expensive
yes they have. I never really shop there anyway, i dont think they think about their style enough
they do great baby clothes. the underwear is beautiful but very expensive and i found if they measure you for a bra, it's the marks and spencer brand in that size that fits you, not any other brand.
awwww i love baby clothes they are alll so cute

clothes a bit too oldish for me and too expensive anyway!
i have to stick up for m & s for a moment. i only remembered when i was ironing last night that i bought 2 tshirts there last summer for €8 each and they have been worn and washed loads of times and are still looking good.

i agree, m and s is good for quality
i think the problem is that M & S dont have clothes to suit ALL age groups
