Okay, so I've been thinking, and Emmie is the ONLY ONE WHO READS THIS!!! (Thanks by the way hunni *hugz* http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/937/peaz6yb.gif lol :p ) so I thought I'd start it off in a new thread, give it a spoiler thread, and a character page, give all the characters matching celebrities like Bry and bakedbean (with dollies too though :D ) and, most importantly,
:cheer: INTRODUCE A MASS OF NEW CHARACTERS :cheer:

Most of the new characters will appear in series two, but a couple of them will turn up near the end of series one, including Tomtom's little sister Riley, and knight-in-shining-armour (not telling you why yet) Logan. New series characters will include moneybags Brandon, with two cash-hungry woman fighting over him, and Irish ladies' man Seamus and his American clone Aaron. Plus plenty more...

Each character will have a new celebrity face, like in Devon Seas and Exeter, with Lindsay Lohan as Shezza and :heart: Richard Fleeshman :heart: as Corey. Dunno if these are particularly good choices, but what the hell...


These changes will cause longer episodes, and more drama. Enjoy, and be blinded by the LIGHTS!!!!

THE WAITING GAME

When Alison finally accepts Chee as a friend, she confesses that she thinks she's falling in love with Corey - despite the fact that they have only been seeing each other for a short time. Chee is only too happy that their growing closer, as it will be all the easier to tear them apart when the time comes.
So what exactly does Chee have in mind? As she moves on to making close friends with Corey, and removing more and more money from her absent and un-knowing husband Axe, Alison and Corey remain oblivious to her scheming...

The Truth Comes Out

When Tomtom finally gets out the hospital, she decides to come clean to Spider about starting the fire.
Needless to say, he isn't impressed. After angrily accusing her of endangering many lives including her own, he storms away and ignores her completely. She gets so upset that soon she is drinking heavily, and spending a lot more time in grubby casinos with grubby men - dragging a reluctant Shezza along with her, who abandons her to spend more time with Mark. Will she and Spider ever be okay again?

TOMTOM TURNS STRIPPER

As one of the shock twists coming in the following episodes, Tomtom becomes a stripper!
Ever since confessing to starting the fire at the casino, Tomtom's closest friend Spider has turned his back on her, and she feels like she doesn't have anyone else. As he continues to ignore her phone calls and texts, her depression deepens, and she tries to make herself forget by getting drunk and pulling all her clothes off!
If she wants her best friend back, maybe this isn't the best way to go about it...

CHEE TRICKS COREY INTO SLEEPING WITH HER

You could probably see it coming, and here it is. With a bit of cunning manipulation and a lot of beer, Chee finally gets what she wants - which is a drunk Corey on her living room sofa!
After weeks of careful work involving befriending both Alison and Corey, Chee manages to drive the wedge between them that she's been saving for what seems like so long.
Deciding it's finally time to make her move, she visits Alison and tells her that she's seen Corey taking drugs. Afraid that perhaps Alison wil doubt her, or not care whether he's been taking drugs or not, Chee is pleased when Alison flares up and storms off to find Corey. Things get even more heated when Corey denies taking the drugs which he obviously hasn't even laid eyes on, and he and Alison have a heated row, ending when he marches out of the casino and heads off home.
While Alison worries that maybe she's pushed him too far, Chee intercepts Corey's route and invites him into a bar, where he downs every beer she hands him and soon he can barely remember what's happened.
She drives him home, then proceeds to get as much out of him as possible.
Her real intention is to get pregnant, so that he'll have no choice but to leave Alison and be with her, but as you can probably guess things don't go exactly to plan...

MARK KIDNAPS SHEZZA

After finding out about his many other girls, Shezza distances herself as far from Mark as possible - but he has other ideas...
Not wanting to lose out on his favourite lass, Mark hides out in the streets and sneaks up behind her when she passes. Grabbing her and knocking her out by hitting her on the head, he drags her back to the squat, ties her up and locks her in a cupboard...

VCLB takes a lightly sinister turn as all these events take place, and things are about to turn pretty nasty as even more plot twists take place...

Series Two Previews

no, i havent finished writing series one, but i have started series two! here are some previews to keep you interested :p

Brandon watches the big removal van dissapear from view, sighs happily, and turns back to his big new house. He lifts the shiny gold key up to the lock, and is just about to turn it when he hears a familiar voice behind him.
"Hey baby, I followed you."
His heart sinks faster than a 50 tonne rock falling from the sky.

Kyle looks down uncertainly at the young woman lying on the ground beneath him, clutching her head. "Um, do you need some help?" he asks unsurely, "an ambulance or anything?"
"No, no, I'm fine." Her screwed up face tells him otherwise.
"Do you want to come back to my place for a bit?" he asks, "I'll get you some ice."
She smiles and holds out her hand. He pulls her up. "Kyle Morrison," he introduces himself as. Still smiling, she replies "Chee. Chee Campbell."

VCLB To Finish At The End Of Series 2

Sorry guys, but I've decided to stop writing this after the next series. To be honest, I would have finished it at the end of series one, but hey - I promised you guys a lot of new stuff and I am sticking to that. So I'm going to write series two and put my absolute best into it, and once it's finished I'm starting a brand new soap which have already started planning, set in Scotland (a place I am more familiar with than Las Vegas).

Why stop?
I'm stopping because VCLB is - quite frankly - a total mess. It's an idea that just came to me one second and I jumped right into it, not planned or anything like that. I've changed around a lot of the storyline plans, half the spoilers are probably wrong, and the continuity must be appauling. Also, I don't have a clue what Las Vegas is like - it just seemed an ideal place to set it. I don't like writing about it because I live nowhere near it and have never experianced it.

So what's this new soap going to be about?
All in good time - but I can tell you that it's set in a group of houses along Loch Ness, and that it's going to be ten times more explosive than VCLB - while VCLB concentrates more on individual characters, there will be a lot more family involvement in this new soap. I've started planning it already, so it should be safe to start once VCLB is finished.

Will VCLB ever come back?
I don't know, right now I wouldn't think so but at some point in the future it might turn up again for a bit - but I really doubt it. Sorry!

How long will series two be?
I don't know - like I said, not planned! I know roughly what I'm doing though, and how it's going to end. If it really fails though, and absolutely no-one reads it, then I'll just "axe" it mid-series. But I would keep writing if people want to read it - I would keep writing till the end of the series for one person if they enjoyed it.

Series one will be drawing to a close sometime soon, then I'm going to take a break, maybe write a little mini series if I feel like it, and then series two. Once again, sorry to anyone who likes VCLB :(

ok, so (pretty much) on the contrary to what i said before ^^^ i dont think vclb is going to make it past series one. im not even sure i want to continue it at all, but im asking now if anyone particularly wants me to finish series one - note that if i did finish it, the writing probably wouldnt be to my best ability - it would be rushed, basically. also, if i stop writing this now then i have more time to put into my new soap, which i can assure you will be much better. so if you particularly want me to continue (consider what i've just said) then tell me, and ill see. sorry to any of the few people who read this :(
