John Stamos to join ER as a regular..... but there's a catch

Word on the street is that John Stamos has finally said yes to the bosses of ER and has joined as a regular cast member in season 13. However there is a catch, rumour has it that another major cast member is to be cut to make room for Stamos' huge pay packet.
The most likely candidates for this cull are either Weaver or Kovac...... both being held responsible for Clemente's fun in the E4 episode last week / channel 4 tonight.
Other spoilers for season 13 are already starting to emerge, i can post them if people want, just checking as the existing season is only halfway through!!

Sorry to butt in on this but being an American, I find it AMUSING they are hiring John Stamos,, hes a good lookin guy but thats it thats where it end, he has no talent!!!!,, last time I saw him in any thing he was playing around with the Olsen twins in FAMILY MATTERS.. he and his wife are the most shallow self centered people I have ever read about...:wall:

They wont get rid of Kovac, he is the best thing in ER at the mo!

The jury is still out on that one..... but it does look likely if someone was to get the chop then it would be kerry. I think that the ER bosses are catering to their american audience as stamos is a bit more of a household name over there

Stamos is a joke him and his wife are like Becks and Posh .. they are not that TALENTED . they just have the looks.....sorry gang but as an American Stamos just doesn't do it for me in ER or any thing :searchme:

well i'd much rather have kovac than him, i also enjoyed the manic comedy that clemente and morris bring the ER. A pity that John Leguizamo isnt staying on.

Who does John Stamos play in ER? Is he a new character? I used to love ER but don't get to watch it so much anymore.

He played a paramedic by the name of gates, he's back in the seat of an ambulance but is also thinking about training to be a doctor.
It looks like he will be involved in another of ER's great love triangles that may involve Neela and Ray as well
