Chrissie walked into the lounge, Helena in her arms. Jake looked up and smiled.
"Did you have fun?" He said.
"Yeah, it was alright." She smiled. "I missed you though."
"You were only gone a couple of hours."
"I know but I still missed you."
He stroked her cheek.
"Did you find anywhere?" She asked.
"Well, I didn't know how many people we're inviting so I didn't have much luck."
"Never mind. Where is everyone?"
"Well Nana and Alfie are out at bingo and Danny.. I don't know."
"Oh, so I guess we have the place to ourselves."
"I guess we do."

Chrissie and Jake were in bed. She stroked his chest.
"We should get a place of our own." Jake said.
"Where's this come from?" Chrissie asked.
"Well.. Danny said that we're really.." He paused. "..noisy."
"What do you mean?"
"In bed."
"Oh.. we can just give up sex then."
"WHAT?!"
"Calm down Jake, I was only joking." She said and kissed him.
"What are we gonna do then?" He asked.
"We could move out, like you said. We could do with the space and we have the money."
"Ok then. That's what we'll do."
She kissed him passionately, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"You make me so happy." She whispered.

A few weeks later Chrissie phoned Jake with some good news.
"I've spotted a really nice house up for sale." Chrissie smiled. "But.."
"But what?" Jake said.
"It's too expensive."
"How expensive are we talking?"
"10 grand. We have got the money but we were saving it for the wedding."
"Never mind. Anyway, why don't we meet in the Vic tonight for a drink?"
"Yeah maybe. I'm just going to say hello to Johnny, so I'll see you later babe. Bye." She ended the call and walked into Scarlet.
Johnny was at his desk when Chrissie went in his office.
"Ah, Chrissie. I was hoping you'd stop by." He said, standing up. "How's the baby?"
"Oh, she's great." Chrissie smiled.
"And what about yourself?"
"Well, I'm a bit annoyed. I mean I found this fantastic house but me and Jake only have enough if we don't get married."
"How much do you need?"
"10 thousand." She sighed.
"Alright then." He said and got his check book.
He wrote it out and handed it to her.
"I can't take this." She said, shocked.
"No, I insist. Think of it as an early wedding present."
"Are you sure? It's just so much money."
"I'm positive. And there's some extra for Helena-May."
"Thanks so much. You don't know how much this means to me."
She flung her arms around his neck and hugged him.
"Thank you." She whispered. "This is one of the sweetest things anyone's done for me."

"Jake. You'll never guess what happened today!" Chrissie squealed, as she sat down next to him.
"Go on. Shock me." He smiled.
She pulled the check from Johnny out of her bag.
"Johnny's given us the money so that we can buy the house. And there's a little extra for Helena." She grinned.
"This is so great." He said. "How about some champagne?"
She smiled and kissed him lovingly.

Weeks after Jake and Chrissie had moved in, they were getting married. Jake was fiddling with his tie. He was so nervous. Alfie looked at him.
"Come on you'll be here all day." He said.
"Sorry. I'm just so worried something bad is going to happen." Jake replied and put his hands in his pockets. "Where's Johnny? He's meant to be here by now."
"Everything will be fine. Now sort yourself out and I'll phone him."
"Ok.. Hang on, where's Danny?"
"Stop worrying Jake."

"You nervous?" Sharon asked, looking at herself in the mirror.
"Nope. Not at all." Chrissie said, picking up her mascara.
Sharon turned round to face her.
"Really? Not the slightest bit?"
Chrissie shook her head.
"Well, I know it's going to be perfect, so what's there to worry about?"
"It'll be more than perfect, I'm sure." Sharon said. "Now go and get your dress on."
Chrissie grinned and danced out of the room.

Danny knocked on the door. Sharon answered it.
"Aren't you meant to be over with Jake?" She said with a frown.
"Yeah, but I wanted to talk to Chrissie. It's important." He answered.
"Oh. Ok, come in." She walked back inside. "How's Jake then?"
Danny followed.
"He's so nervous. I think he was having second thoughts.." He said.
Sharon screwed her face up.
"But-" She stopped.
Chrissie twirled.
"Well? Aren't you going to tell me how I look?" She giggled excitedly.
She was wearing a simple white silk dress with shoe-string straps.
"My god. You look amazing Chrissie. You really do." Sharon gasped.
"Danny. What do you want?" Chrissie asked.
"I need to talk to you. In private." He said, glancing at Sharon.
"Alright. I'm going." She sighed and left.
"Go on then." Chrissie said and continued to apply her make-up.
"Jake doesn't want to marry you." He blurted out.
"Well too bad for him we're getting married." She said sarcastically.
"I mean it. He told me he still hasn't forgiven you for Alfie."
"Why are you trying to mess things up for us? Jake loves me, I know that."
"Don't marry him. You've hurt him enough."
"You can't tell me what to do." She said, almost shouting.
"Good girls do as they're told." He said.
"Get out." She screamed.
"But bad girls.." He paused and laughed. "Bad girls are punished."
She faced him. He smiled and edged closer to her. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a knife. She looked down at the sharp blade clamped tightly in his hand and gasped.
"Don't do this Danny." She said weakly and almost in tears.
He walked behind her and tied her wrists together.
"I have a very funny feeling you're not going to get married." He whispered in her ear.


I told you it was something to do with Danny..

Danny's phone rang.
"Ah, the man you claim you love is phoning." He smiled and answered it. "Hello Jakey."
"Danny, where the hell are you? We're meant to be there right now." Jake said.
"Oh, I'm sorry Jake. I'm not gonna be able to make it."
"Why not?"
"Well.." He glanced at Chrissie who was now tied to a chair. "I've got plans."
"Hold on, there's someone at the door."

Jake opened the door.
"Sharon?" He said.
"Chrissie's gone." She said.
"What? How?"
"Well Danny came over and said he needed to talk to her about something important. When I came back they were gone."
Jake picked his phone back up.
"What've you done with her?" Jake said, almost shouting.
"Who? Chrissie? Oh I'm just teaching her a lesson." Danny said. Jake could hear muffled screams and then the line went dead.

danny better not hurt chrissie...argh! this is so good because i cant begin to guess what dannys gonna do... more soon & i cant wait for gold rush x

I HATE DANNY!!! He better not hurt chrissie, you must not leave to too long don't keep us in suspense like this :p
