View Full Version : Would you mind if WQ came back to sb?
Would you mind if WQ aka Walford queen came back to sb? If she was allowed that is,i am just wondering that's all.I have noticed recently that alot of the regular posters have stopped posting as much and sb is getting a little boring so what way to brighten things up then bring back wq? She was always argumentitive,rude,opinionated etc etc which annoyed the lot of us at the best of times but was that so wrong,at least it got a reaction.
I know what she did at the time was out of order,and i was one of the first to have a go i expect but still can we forget and move on.She was always making new threads etc up so we wernt all bored she kept it interesting.She caused some of the best scandals on the site,and even got me into hot water a few times but i think every site needs a person like that.
BRING BACK WQ!
The poll may seem a little confusing vote YES if you dont want her back(as in yes i would mind) No for i dont mind or dont mind as not bothered either way.
By the way she knows nothing of this as i havent got her addy anymore and have only spken to her once since she got banned.just in case you thought she had asked me to do it or something.

well i hadnt joined when she was on here so i dont really have a clue what its all about really so i dont really mind.
I did enjoy the banner,with but I think it would be hard to trust her/him on here now.I think the person lost all credibility, and become very nasty to some of the younger members on here. But that is only my opinion.

Yeah, i'd mind if she did, obviously. But to be honest, this isn't our place to even give our opinions. She messed around with the admin to the boards, and meant that nb and the mods had to spend ages sorting it out. A permanent ban is her punishment which frankly she deserves. Even if you think its getting boring, she has a ban, and just like every other warning and punishment given out on here, it shouldn't be just "cancelled out".
I definatley would not want her to come back. yes I enjoyed a lot of her posts and had many good arguments with her. However as the recipient of a lot of her nasty emails I do not think she should be allowed back. She had a talent and great knowledge of the soaps which she wasted. She is having a great time on DS with her multiple user names

Thats a point actually. Whats the point in discussing this, when she probably wouldn't even WANT to come back, even if we did?! She said "she had her reasons" for doing what she did, so obviously her will to stay wasn't very much!!
ok fair enough,was just asking,forgive and forget and all that.Trust me she said some pretty nasty stuff about me but im willing to forgive her,but yes she has been given a permanent ban so i suppose a rule is a rule.end of.

She did contribute to the board but at the end of the day she broke the rules and lied to everyone, i just couldnt trust her
I don't think she should be allowed back either, If someone earns a perminant ban, it should be perminant. If members are going to be allowed back no matter what they've done purely because of their contributions to the board, there may aswell not be a warning/banning system in place.
after reading this with interest im dying to know what she/he actually did!
anyone care to enlighten me?

well put it this way she became really friendly with some people on this board then when they told her personal information ie msn adresses in the end she gave them viruses and hacked on to their accounts i think she also told lies that she was pregnat to everybody on here and she did other things which i dont know about

Can i just say that i have not voted in this poll because i was fairly new to sb and did not have any conversations or any issues with WQ, but in my time on here as a member i have met some lovely, genuine friends on here who have been effected by her actions. If it meant that a lot of members were thinking of leaving if she did return then yes i would mind if she did return, i'm all for giving people a fair hearing and a chance to everyone but if she was aloud to return then other members who were banned for less would also be allowed to return.

i don't trust every single person, but i do trust one or two people wholly who i know on here. they are not people i know in real life, but people that i have got to know. i don't pretend, i have no reason to, but i don't get drawn into conversations with anyone thats over 5 years older than me.

you have hit the nail on the head em, liars have to be so careful i think i can generally spot them, i have really not got the memory to lie about anything!!!
As for WQ coming back, really don't think so. she(?) never did anything directly to me (and to be honest i am not really sure what exactly happened!!) it does not look good if someone is banned then is allowed to come back
granted- i can see that and stuff. i really trust kayla and some others. there is nobody else i trust though- i don;t come on here and look for email addresses to add people.

even though i was here when wq was i never really spoke to her and i was away in her final week when she mucked all the boards up hacked into it and stuff so reading this i didnt no she done this stuff, i wouldnt have a problem with her coming back as everyone would know not to tell her to much, but i would have a problem if she made people leave, so id say no i wouldnt want ehr back

Like you say, I dont think shes back here to be honest, we would have soon seen her posting style coming out again....
i believe you chance- you would notice how often she was on etc, and there'd be more action all around the clock, not just in the daytime becuase i think she was on nearly all the time, am i correct?

your ip addy should stay the same as thats how the identify computers
mine used to change before we got the router. the isp people keep a log, so if it changes it can be identified through there.

i dont think i knew her well enough to form an opinion but if she was as bad as is made out then do we really need to encourage people like that to be on SB? we really need to keep people like that out to keep SB as good as it is.

i wouldnt want her back on here, what she did is, in my eyes, unforgivable. permanent bans should remain permenent but i think i would rather have nearly all the other members who have been banned back before i would want her to come back (if that makes sense). luckily i didnt really trust her that much to start with (although i never thought she would do something like that), just some of the disgusting things she said that no decent honest human being would do! so i always thought she was telling lies to some extent. if she did come back, i dont think i would necessarily leave the boards, as why should someone like her stop me from coming on here but i would be extremely annoyed and probably wouldnt have the same opinions about these boards as i do now
Hey - well i have been skim reading all your posts, and i thought it was time i posted my opinion.
I to be honest don't think she should be allowed back, i mean if she were to be allowed bak then that would mean all the other people who have been banned for less serious reasons would maybe have to be allowed back as it would be unfiar, but i think what she did was wrong, she fooled alot of us, including me and i was taken in, i do agree she was a regular poster and did make things fun etc but i don't think she should be allowed back!
At the end of the day it is all a matter of Trust. nobody who knew the story would trust her anymore and would feel uncomfortable. If she came back, you would lose a lot more because of it.. I personally have nothing against her, she was always nice and pleasant to me and I was on maternity leave when this all started so I don't know what it was like then.

oh and another thing i forgot to say before, yeh she did make loads of new threads and she was on here constantly talking, but i think that people still start good discussions and i dont think its boring without her, there are still loads of regular posters that frequently post their opinions on things which makes interesting reading and there are generally quite a lot of people on most of the time to talk to, yeh she used to be on all hours of the day so maybe there now isnt someone to talk to at 4am but i dont think anyone is actually on at that time anyway, it definitely isnt a regular thing that its a popular time for people to be on!
At the end of the day it is all a matter of Trust.i couldnt agree any more and after what she did, its hard to ever trust her
