I'm slightly more worried now because Fife is about 2 hours away from where I stay and that is where the swan has been found.

I'll have to carry on eating it wherever it may spread to, if I stopped eating meat I'd starve.

apparently even if you eat a chicken that had bird flu or an egg from a bird flu chicken you cant catch bird flu!

im kinda worried about it as 109 people in the world have died from it and now it is in england but not where i live which is good and it affects younger people even more but i am a bit of a worrier so it may be that

Jojo
09-04-2006, 14:12
I'm still not worried by it....109 people in the world is a far lesser number than those that were killed by the SARS outbreak...People panicking won't make the situation any better..

Richie_lecturer
09-04-2006, 15:32
Yes that's 109 people, out of what is it, 6.3 billion. Most of these deaths are in the far East anyway, where they touch chickens more than their partners! So we should be alright as long as people wash their hands etc. Nothing to worry about.

i'm not really worried. its not getting humans, but if everyone takes precautions then we'll be fine. i got to eat meat, becuase i don't like anything else
