Lucy Benjamin NOT returning to Walford

Reports over the weekend suggesting that ex-EastEnders actress Lucy Benjamin would be reprising her role as Lisa Fowler have been rubbished.

A show spokeswoman told DS: "I don't know where that story came from - there has been no contact from either party."

noooo i really wanted her to come back then we would see phil fighting for 2 children lol

i thought it would have been a bad idea anyway bringing her back begging to phil - if they were ever going to bring her back they should have lisa stronger and not scared of phil - able to hold her own

Oh well. It doesn't exactly say that it will never happen though.

If Lisa did ever come back then it don't think it should be for a while yet as we already have Phil fighting Ian to get Ben, we don't need to see him fighting Lisa to get Louise at the same time. Maybe a few years down the road, when the Ben situation is (hopefully) sorted out, then Lisa and Louise could come back.
