EXCLUSIVE: 'Lost' moves to Tuesday nights in UK

Channel 4 is switching Lost from Wednesdays to Tuesdays in order to bring it back several months earlier than planned.

The second season of the cult US show was originally slated to begin in July following the conclusion of Desperate Housewives but was moved forward to the Spring to satisfy viewer demand.

Sources tell Digital Spy that the show will air in a new Tuesday night slot at 10pm slot beginning on May 2. E4 will continue to preview new episodes each week at 11pm on Tuesdays.

Strongly recommend you watch this.. fantastic stuff that you expect! Ireland is on episode 7 already so we will be nearly finished when it starts on C4 and I will be watching them all again incase i missed something the first time round as there is always lots to look out for

I'm watching the first series on E4 at the minute, and I've now really got into it. Glad they are bringing it back earlier

I really cant wait i found this out a couple of days agi and was telling all my friends as they have kept nagging at me to tell them when lost is back on

OMG i can't wait, if it doesnt start soon i'm gonna explode, slight exageration lol, but seriously i'm so excited about the new series of lost, i loved the first series and if the second is just as action packed, which i'm sure it will be, it will be just fantastic. also there are going to be a few new faces on the island including michelle rodgreguez (i think thats how it's spelt). its so unfair that ireland get to watch it already and were so behind, i'm packing up my things and heading over there lol! :angry:

UK fans of Lost will be able to see the first three episodes of season two on the night it returns.

Channel 4 will air both the premiere and episode two from 10pm on Tuesday, May 2, while digital viewers will be able to tune to E4 at midnight to catch the third.

Meanwhile, the channel has also scheduled a first season catch-up special, Destination Lost, for May 1 at 7.15pm.


Can't wait for Season 2 to start!!!

First Episode is just a catch up, but it is nice to be reminded what happened in season 1

Me too. you have to watch lost a lot of times as each time you pick up something different and when you watch back, having more information,you see a lot more things you never noticed first time round
