black heads

my friend gets really bad black heads on her nose, cheeks and chin. she clearsils and gets a shower every day but there still there. she now wears makeup to try and hide them but there still there.

does anyone know of any creams or anything that can get rid of them cos she is desperate and keeps moaning

If she is using clearasil,she needs to use it three times a day,at first, putting makeup on them is only clogging up the pores more. I suggest she gets a facial steamer or fills a basin with hot water and cover her head with a towel and steam the face that way,for about five minutes,her face will look red but don't worry, then cleanse then skin by wiping with cotton wool and you will be amazed how much dirt will come out of the pores, then wash the face with cold water to close the pores. Do this twice a week,and keep using the clearasil and they such go.if she still has a few left gently squeeze then after steaming the face,with a clean tissue,as not to infect the pores. good luck

yeah it's all about the steaming! and i'd also suggest a quick go with some of those pore-strips you can get which you stick on your nose/whever for a few mins then rip off and it pulls all the gunk out, esp after a steam coz all your pores will be open. it's quite satisfying actually!
and she can wear makeup as long as it's oil-free stuff, just read the packaging befor buying. and please god wash it off before going to bed...

steaming the face always helps. you can see and tell the difference!

tell her to try which stick concela sp? it covers it up and clears it at the same time. or tea tree oil.

Blackheads aren't always the sign of unclean skin, many people get blackheads and have cleaner skin than anyone.
