king charles cavaliers

wasnt sure where to put this but i need some advice if anyone can help.Just bought a king charles cavalier of 6 months for a relative,only tonight i have noticed he has a small fatty lump on his belly just above his willy.I have read that these dogs are prone to hernias,but that some are just fat plugs.Has anyone got a cav and if so have you ever experianced this?

chance have you tried ringing an emergancy vet as they can help on most things, as if it was a hernia wouldnt the person who you bought it of know about it
